August 2nd 2011...met at a volunteer meeting of a cowboy youth ministry in Tennessee I was helping to run.
August 4th...first date!
I came home to Scotland at the end of September and he came to visit and meet my family in October. I then visited him in November and again in February 2012 which is when he proposed :)
