  1. About 75% - 90% of all people who have sex are likely to get HPV at some point in their lives. About 6 million Americans get HPV every year. With over 100 different types, most of which have no symptoms...idk how they could hold being infected with it against you.

thank you for your reply .. much appreciated . Im just confused in My Ds 156 form if I have to choose the option Yes ( for having HPV im not sure though if it is considered communicable with public health relevance ) or I will choose NO .

  2. HI VJ friends !

I need help again .. this is about my DS 156 form . there is a box at the back of it stating if i have been afflicted with a communicable disease of public health

    significance..

Im confused if I will say yes or no ... I have been diagnosed that i have HPV 2 months ago . but as i search it is not one of the listed communicable disease of public relevance in the immigration .. that is why Im confused if i will say yes or no .

but Im not planning to lie . I plan to say yes in my medical exam coz i have my medical certificate from my Gynecologist .

    Help

  3. A personal question, but it was very irresponsible for your boyfriend to give you HPV. If he knew he had it, there is treatment that would have helped him not spread it to you I think.

But anyway, don't be worried. It's a common disease to have, and I agree, I don't think this is one that will make them deny the visa. Especially if you have already been treated.

Again, the most important thing, DO NOT TRY TO HIDE IT from them. If they find it in the medical, and you didn't tell the truth, I promise, they WILL deny the visa then.

Just be honest and up front about it from the beginning.

I searched and couldn't find anyone being denied because of HPV.

    Be strong!

thank you so much for your reply .. i really appreciate it a lot .. its okay , he doesnt know that he had it , he only knew he had it when I already had the symptoms . :)

  4. I don't know if you have a problem or not, but you must not lie on your application. Just be honest. I assure you many people in the US have also had HPV.

But if the honest answer is 'yes' then I think you must click it. I would think if you have been treated for it, it would be a reason enough to deny you.

    Maybe this site will help:

    https://www.usimmigrationsupport.org/medicalexam.html

It lists the diseases that they will test for. And usually, if one does have a disease like TB, they will requirement treatment before the issue the visa, but they won't deny a visa if the person gets treatment.

In your case, make sure you have documentation of all the treatment you received. And be honest. If you try to hide it, and they find it, that is way worse. They would deny the visa for sure then.

I think you must check 'yes' and then you can write a letter explaining that you have HPV but have been treated.

    Also, does your partner know?

yes i got this from him .. I alredy have them removed and burned , Im on treatment .. i am really worried

  5. HI VJ friends .

I just wanna know if having HPV with genital warts will cause denial of my K1 visa application . I have been diagnosed last month and I got my warts removed already and received vaccination. but because of the burning of the warts there might be some noticeable scars .

Im confused if i have to tick yes to the question "do u have STD?" , Im afraid I might get denied .

some of our VJ friends shared that as long as I have the MNL# then we're good to go .. confused :(

  7. The visa fee is $240 paid at BPI bank, you need the MNL # and passport to pay the fee, then you can schedule your interview online. Never heard of anyone being exempt from paying the fee, and many military have been throught this process.

Here is the list of what we did:

After NOA2 AND YOU HAVE YOUR MNL #

(open all of these links then save them to your bookmarks so you have them for easy access)

    Embassy:

    http://photos.state....3__rtf2_003.pdf

The DS-156 can be difficult to complete sometimes, if you have issues try a different web browser. I had problems getting it to print with IE8, Chrome, Firefox, finally got it to print using Safari.

    http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/

When scheduling online with the embassy you need to include the "XX" at the beginning of the passport number, your passport number IS your receipt number.

Priorty Date; this is the date the NOA 2 was approved.

Make sure to print two copies of the interview confirmation page as you will need one for St. Luke's and the other for the embassy.

(don't need to wait for the letter from the embassy)

    St. Luke's:

    http://www.slec.ph/u...l#required-docs

Preregister at St. Luke's, it saves time when you arrive.

    http://www.slec.ph/us/registration/

Have copies of passport bio page, confirmation page from scheduling interview online at embassy, and of course the 2X2 photos.

    CFO:

    http://www.cfo.gov.p...atid=140#ThirdA

Required documents & "OTHER DOCUMENTS" they ask for at CFO: copies of; CENOMAR, certified birth certificate, bio page of passport, visa page from passport, pictures together, from USC - bio page of passport, birth certificate, divorce decree (if been married before) are the most common. The "other documents" clause can be ANYTHING with those nit-wits at CFO.

** From the Family Code of the Philippines: it's 21-25 years old for advice and 18-21 years old for consent.

Art. 14. In case either or both of the contracting parties, not having been emancipated by a previous marriage, are between the ages of eighteen and twenty-one, they shall, in addition to the requirements of the preceding articles, exhibit to the local civil registrar, the consent to their marriage of their father, mother, surviving parent or guardian, or persons having legal charge of them, in the order mentioned. Such consent shall be manifested in writing by the interested party, who personally appears before the proper local civil registrar, or in the form of an affidavit made in the presence of two witnesses and attested before any official authorized by law to administer oaths. The personal manifestation shall be recorded in both applications for marriage license, and the affidavit, if one is executed instead, shall be attached to said applications. (61a)

Art. 15. Any contracting party between the age of twenty-one and twenty-five shall be obliged to ask their parents or guardian for advice upon the intended marriage. If they do not obtain such advice, or if it be unfavorable, the marriage license shall not be issued till after three months following the completion of the publication of the application therefor.A sworn statement by the contracting parties to the effect that such advice has been sought, together with the written advice given, if any, shall be attached to the application for marriage license. Should the parents or guardian refuse to give any advice, this fact shall be stated in the sworn statement.

    thank you soo much :)

  8. Hmm, sorry, no idea on that one. I don't know if that's true. You can't sign up for an appointment without first paying the visa fee at a BDO branch there in the Philippines. So if he is exempt, then I'm not sure how that works. Sorry just don't know enough. But if so, great for you guys!! :)

its okay .. thank you so much for helping me . :)

  9. Not sure exactly what that is. But I'll say we never had any documents verified at all during our K1 process. We had to go to BDO I think it was, and pay the visa fee, and they need to see your passport. But that was about it.

    thank you :)

regarding the fees. my fiance (the us citizen) called NVC for some inquiries . and NVC mentioned that he is excempted of the fee..

is there an excemption with the visa fee? he works at the navy .
