Hi,
My status on CEAC was updated today so someone must have looked at my case because I sent them an email. I am worried because a few days before the interview, they asked me to get a new passport with the name that appears on my birth certificate. On the day of the interview, the first person said I would have to get a new passport and to discuss the issue relating to my name with the case officer. The case officer told me my current passport was fine and approved the visa. I am worried now that they may change their minds again. It will take some time to get a new passport and I want to see my husband as soon as possible.

elgarta, you may want to inquire with the Australian consulate, or at least in the Australia forum, about the signature. In the case of the Manila consulate, they accept ink signatures, but it has to be original signature, not a copy. The CO actually FELT the paper for the indentation of the ink pen when my fiance did her interview. But each country is different. And no need to get copies signed by a bank employee. You can just download and email copies of past bank statements in most cases (again, ask in the Australia regional forums, it may be different there than in the PI, though I cannot imagine so).

Oops that was it Dr Ross Taylor..... Lol I knew it was Dr Ross but I forgot it was Dr Ross Taylor...lol how quick you forget all the stress once you pass each stage.
Our stress lately was selling our house - which took forever but finally.... So in a few weeks we are off....
