  1. What isa CS1 visa? Are you talking about CR1? This is a DIY site, the majority of us have done the entire process on our own. As long as your case isn't complicated, then no reason for an attorney.
  2. Don't ever assume anything when iy comes to immigration! How old are your children?
  3. You won't be getting a waiver for that. Just being honest...
  4. Several people have already told you that his conviction does NOT matter!!! It is HER visa, it's HER criminal record that matters!!!
  5. Not sure where you came up with a timeline of 5 months for an RFE, it's usually a lot quicker than that.
  6. Your brother will never be eligible to adjust status. As in never, ever. It's the law. Period. End of story.
  7. Yes, without a doubt. I'm a Bostonian, I fly in and out of Logan constantly and 3 hours is more than enough time.
  8. Another reason why the CR1/IR1 is the superior visa. The fees for a K-1 are astronomical.
  9. Absolutely this. There is no way I would ever reschedule and put naturalization in jeopardy. No trip is worth the risk.
  10. A green card is for living in the U.S., for all intents and purposes you have not done that. In order to qualify for citizenship, it's like everyone else said, 4 years and one day- BUT you MUST spend the majority those 4 years here in the U.S., no more long absences. Best of luck.
  11. This is a DIY site, the majority of us have done the entire process on our own, up to and including naturalization. As long as you have a straightforward case, no need for an attorney. There are guides at the top of the page and you can ask questions at any time. Best of luck.
  12. If you sign the marriage contract when you get engaged, you have no choice but to file a CR-1. In Islam, signing that contract makes you religiously married, which in the eyes of immigration (USCIS) makes you legally married. Ask me how I know? I went through the process with my husband. Trust me. Doesn't matter if it's arranged, it's the cultural norm.
  13. Yup. Obviously OP has no clue that a B visa and a tourist visa are one in the same.
  14. Please explain why you think you are the one to "approve" their visas? All B2 visa applications and approvals/denials are handled by the consulate. You don't have a thing to do with any of it.
  15. I find it hard to believe he failed the test a full 3 months after the last time he smoked. It doesn't sound like he's being honest with you.
  16. Yes, tell your fiancé to stop smoking weed so he can pass his drug test a year from now. Literally, the only solution.
  17. Much of the advice in your answer isn't correct. If you do not know how to correctly answer someone, please don't guess, as you can cause more harm than good.
