    Understood, BUT millions who have gone before you have said the same and proceeded to do the opposite. You don't need to convince me, it's convincing CBP you need to worry about. I know it's discouraging and no on is telling you it's impossible, we're just letting you know the reality that it will be an uphill battle.

    A green card is for living in the US. It isn't for coming here then turning around to go back to their home country and staying there indefinitely.

    A B-2 visa is for VISITING the U.S, not for living together in the U.S. to see if your relationship is going to work out, visa. Just sayin'. I'm very surprised she wasn't deported and her visa permanently revoked after you admitted to CBP that you were living together. She is extremely lucky!

    Absolutely!!!!! My now husband was questioned during his interview at the consulate in Amman about my ex-husband.

    Nope. I never changed my last name. We've been married 14 years and my husband has been a US citizen for years and years.

    You can meet in another country, there is no getting around the meeting in person rule. If finances are a concern, you're going to have a lot of trouble getting a K-1 because of the cost, plus the requirement of having the ability to support your fiancé once they arrive to the U.S

    Right now the K-1 and CR1 are following the same timeline-give or take a few weeks. By FAR the CR1 is the superior visa and costs less than half of what a K-1 costs. Not to mention the fact that with a Cr1 the person has a green card immediately upon entry to the US, they can work and travel immediately. With a K-1 , they must adjust status, wait for a long time for the ability to work and travel out of the country. There isn't a person here who wouldn't agree that the CR1 is the superior visa at this time.

    Not sure what your MIL has to do with your wife. The question IS: Has anyone ever filed on behalf of your WIFE? Wouldn't your wife know if anyone has ever petitioned on HER behalf??? (not your mother in law)

    You cannot compare Wales to Pakistan. Pakistan is one of the highest fraud countries when it comes to visas to the US, Wales is on the other end of the spectrum.

    Just because you think her fear is unfounded, doesn't mean it is, especially coming from Pakistan, one of the highest fraud countries. Three visits in such a short amount of time is not normal and again, no one can predict what CBP will do.

    She wasn't denied, her case was put on hold for a year until she completes another medical. Just be advised that she cannot smoke at weed ALL during this next year, not just the days leading up to the new medical.

    Fourth DV charge/conviction? I'm surprised you haven't been deported yet, domestic violence is a CIMT, even if only a misdemeanor. Even a single conviction of domestic violence can lead to severe immigration consequences. Defendants who are not citizens of the United States should be advised that in many cases a single conviction of domestic violence can lead to removal, deportation, or denial of naturalization.

    Entering the U.S. with a B1/B2 visa with the intent to marry, stay and adjust status is visa fraud and will result in a permanent ban.

    The chances of you getting a visitor visa as a single male from Morocco are slim. You need to have VERY strong ties to your home country and it seems to me all you have for a tie to home is 3 and a half years work experience.

    Your parents are required to reside in the U.S. Period. A green card is for LIVING in the U.S., NOT visiting. End of story.

    Please explain how you would be missing out if you do things legally? Just because others have gone about it the wrong way has absolutely no bearing on your immigration journey, immigration to the U.S is a privilege, not a right. Complaining about people who are here illegally isn't going to get you anywhere, especially on this site where we are here to help others through their journey, not argue semantics. Either you accept our help, or try to do things on your own...

    No matter who is in office, the CR1 is always the superior visa.

    Believe what you want, I've seen cases in AP for 2+ years. It is far too early for WoM, you will be forcing them to make a decision and if they aren't done with all the background checks for AP, you'll end up being denied.

    Doesn't matter if they all occurred the same day or on five different days, still five separate offences.
