Our Story
my husband and i met on the internet in 2003..he spotted a picture of me that someone had left up and when he saw me online..he asked me to be his online friend,something about my eyes that made him absolutely want to get to know me, he said..but i was nasty to him for having the nerve to approach me this way..i had dogged him pretty well for this..but he didnt give up..when i settled down..i actually listened to him tell me what made him address me..and we began talking,learning about each other until the power went off on us by surprise..we both were shocked and we both knew we just had to chat again ..hoping one or the other would send an email and we both did just that....the rest was history, we later found out that we had both been praying diligently for God to send us a mate, we fell in love immediately, and..we communicated this way for almost about two years..he tried to come over, but had trouble with the flights etc..so i went to him ..stayed in lagos two weeks..the day after i arrived, we were married in ikeja on february the 22nd 2005,..he went to a fiance visa interview during my stay,march 1st 2005 i think..but was told he was already half american ..to tell his wife that she knows what she has to do..so upon return..i sought an attorney, who filed for us..lots of money whew..i tell ya!but she filed the I130.. and we thought we could hold out,.. but got really lonely..so about a month afterwards..i went back and filed for the K3, to get Yomi(as he is lovingly called),.home earlier..just in this month of july, within 4days of each other, did we get the notices of the approved applications of both the I130(first),and then the I129, we also recieved a congratulations from our attorney..and now we are just waiting.
