  1. CEAC Status set to READY! 🥳
  2. I have heard this happens and it is embassy dependent. I would suggest to try to communicate via email and/or phone with the embassy.
  3. Update: Reveived K1-FTP from the NVC today! CEAC status now In Transit! 🥳
  4. Public Inquiry, send one to ask for your NVC case number, which is different than the USCIS one. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html Then you can track in in their CEAC system: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV There is another forum in Discord that has info about this every two weeks shipping pattern.
  5. oh, and since they just received it, it indeed will be entered soon, so I would suggest to send another PI, so you get the case number. Crossing my fingers for you!
  6. Thank you! and I hope that you get a positive response from the PI soon!
  7. Received a response from the NVC Pubic Inquiry with our NVC Case number!
  8. same here. it has been a week from status change to sent to DOS. I have heard it takes 3 weeks to create a case, and then from a week to 3 to send to the consulate. Depending on the consulate. I understand it is advised to send a public inquiry to the NVC at 3 weeks. They reply in a week, with the status, or sometimes they give you the new case number, which you can track on the tracking NVC site.
  9. I use "the other" tracking service, and I see that there are still 36 cases on received state for that day. I totally empathize with you. The wait is excruciating.
  10. I have a couple of questions to people who already have had this stage recently. My case was forwarded to the DOS last week. The DOS timeframes web page shows 3 weeks from receiving to case entered/creation. Do they email you and mail you the letter with the case number right away when then create the case? I understand it then takes a week or two for them to forward the case to the embassy/consulate. Do you also get an email when they forward it? or do you have to then check the status on the status web page? Can you go into the appointments page as soon as you have the case number and book an appointment? Can you fill the DS-160 online right away after only having the case number? or do you have to wait for the consulate to contact us first? Thanks in advance!
  11. Copy clearly. I did not know answering the question of what tool I as using to track my case was spamming. I would think if the tool was mine and I was benefiting financially from it, it would be consider spamming. How would I best answered the persons question? "I cannot tell you because I will be banned?" I am not trying to be difficult, I am just trying to figure out why it was considered spam? also, the person who asked must have deleted their message with the question.
  12. kids under 21 at the time of marriage get to go through adjustment of status
  13. In the recent ********removed*******, they have the following paragraph: "Transfers to the Department of State's National Visa Center have also slowed in the second quarter, tacking on an additional 2 months for cases post-approval. Cases that are currently being sent to the DOS (NVC) have spent a total of 8 to 11 months at USCIS, with a median wait time of 9.3 months" I got very anxious reading this. Does it really mean that once getting the NOA2, it takes a median of 9.3 months wait after? ridiculous We are NOA1 of December 10th 2024. Still waiting, ** says we are 2700 cases from the front of the line. So maybe 2 to 3 more months wait if they dont hurry like the do sometimes, or more if they stall more. So after that, another year?! to just being out of USCIS? what is your experience? (well, now things are different anyway) Alos, my future step son is 20 yo. we were hoping to bring him over. At his rate, he may turn 21 before they can come, and we need to be married before he is 21. So he might not be able to come over. What a nightmare. I am just really venting, but thanks for commenting your thoughts and experiences.
  14. Update: I received a reply from Lockbox support with my case number, and the person replying said they would reissue the NOA1, so we'll see if I get it in the mail soon.
  15. I am doing the same but my fiance has spanish citizenship. I believe it does not matter, and you just go through the process and pick Madrid as the consulate to apply for the visa when the i-129F gets approved.
