  1. Seems today has been a good day all round! I just got off the phone with NVC, talked with the nicest lady there (her name might have been Riley, or something like that? Sounded like she had a cold so I didn't quite understand her) and we got our case number and IIN! Woo hoo! She also gave me a Beneficiary ID number - what is it and will we ever need it?

Congrats to everyone else who received good news as well!!

congratulations on your first step to nvc! I don't think we use that number but it is important! :)

I cried! Interview date finally received for June!!!

yes another success! we have the same date when nvc received our case. same date our interviews are set!

This month is awesome! I (almost) cried too. :crying: :crying:

  2. Hi All,

We don't have the NOA2 yet, but I'm just trying to be organised,

I have put together the following in an envelope to send to my Husband in the U.S:

    *U.S spec passport photographs

    *My Birth Certificate and photocopy.

    *Our Marriage Certificate and photocopy.

    *Police Certificate and photocopy.

*Copy of My Passport info page.

*Completed DS 230 pt1 signed and pt2 unsigned. (plus 2 spares only signed of pt1)

*Completed Choice of Address and Agent form. (Agent being USC husband)

Is that everything I can send?

    Thanks all! :)

    what about the AOS stuff?

  3. I need your kind assistance folks. My wife paid the AOS Fees on 17th April, 2012 and status showed "processing" or "in process" I do not recall which now. Three days later it showed "PAID". Two days or so later it is now showing "REJECTED". Anyone with ideas on possible reasons for this. Suggestions on what step to take next will be greatly appreciated.

one possibility is that your bank has insufficient funds and bank should be in US

  4. Hello Everyone,

I have a question regarding my mom's medical report. The story is this; My mom went for her medical report at Victoria Island and she was asked by the MD to bring in a medical report(like physical examination)from her primary doctor to back up his own medical examinations.

    My questions are;

    What does this mean?

Has anyone out there experienced such?

Will this affect her at the interview?

Though my mom had stroke(TIA) several years ago and the residue of the stroke is a bit obvious in her but she is totally fine and very independent.

Could this be why the MD wants her medical report from her primary doctor?

    I appreciate your response.

    medical report-immunization records;xrays, medical records.
