I´m Colombian and my husband is American. We got married in July 2011. We applied for the Visa on September 9th, 2011. We are soon to have the meeting with the council in Bogota. All of the documents are ready except my Ecuadorian criminal record from when I lived in Ecuador. I would like to know if it is necessary to obtain this information without traveling to Ecuador.
