During my interview, the Filipino pre-screener and US Consul did not asked for letter of intent.. I guess it is because my fiance is with me during the interview.. they didn't even asked for photos, chat logs, and other evidences.. noa1, noa2 and nvc letter is not needed as well..

congratulations!! i am so happy for you.. i smiled when i read your interview experience especially when it comes to the "interesting question" part..

221G ako nung K1 visa interview den a week after that, sinend ko agad ang docs.. Gano ktagal bago mareview ng USEM un? any experience? sino sa inyo na-221G din ng evidence of current sustained income? Ano mga ipinasa nyo.. I am starting to worry and lose hope.. ( naiiyak na ko.. parang napakailap ng visa sakin.. haaayyys

it's not true. it only happened last week due to floods but now that the weather is quite good, USEM is now back on track. Visa applicants can get their interview date Monday to Friday.

congratulations! i love your certificate..

his recent income tax and w2 would of course major proofs of how much he's making a year. the recent pay stubs, employment certificates, bank statements, assets (if there's any) are would also add support his claim. good luck.
He studied last year and finished his studies last May 2012 so previous ITR shows insufficient income. He do have a fulltime job right now and evidences of his current financial capabilities are requested by USEM..
Thanks..
Also submit (if you haven't already)...
I-134 Affidavit of Support...
2011 federal income tax return...
2011 W-2's and 1099's...
You are sooo close...Good luck!!!
USEM already have my fiance's 2011 ITR. We do not include his W2s and 1099's though so I guess I have to include it on the documents that we will be sending. I prepared all the documents and it is ready to send by tomorrow..
Here's what I got:
- Income Letter from my fiance
- Letter of Employment stating his job description, salary, and good performance
- 2 latest paychecks
- 3 paystubs
- w2s and 1099s
I hope that USEM will be satisfied with those docs.. (praying)

for US embassy Manila, some CO don't accept co sponsors for K1. dit was just last month that i accompanied my fiance to his interview and we were told that they cannot accept our co-sponsor since they would need me (the petitioner) to be able to provide the appropriate income for my fiance. it was a problem for us because im unemployed and just recently graduated from college. they told us to send them proof of current sustained income which we found impossible but we decided to provide them a copy of my bank statements. 2 weeks after, the visa arrived.
they are really not that strict when it comes to having a job or not as long as they see that the money you have is enough (in my case it was more than enough) to support your fiance entering the US. and i suggest you accompany your fiance. during our interview, they did not even question my fiance. the questions were all for me.
WE almost have the same experience. My fiance accompanied me during my interview and almost all of the questions are for him. USEM does not accept our co-sponsor and gave us a 221G form stating that we need to provide proof of current sustained income. He is employed and just having a vacation here in Philippines so we just asked for Letter of Employment from his employer, and we will also be sending his recent pay checks. We will send all of it tomorrow, and we are hoping that they will grant the K1 visa as soon as possible..
-
Addendum: We do not have the bank statements onhand yet that's why we cannot include it if we will send the documents to USEM tomorrow.

I recently got a 221G form for current sustained income. Tomorrow, I will send my fiance's recent pay stubs, paychecks, and letter of employment (from his fulltime job).. He even have part time job as a private nurse companion (he is getting this job from 3 different agencies). We are able to get contract of agreement from those agencies so we will also send those to the consulate. Is it enough, or should we also send evidence of his peso savings account? The US consul told us that we should just prove that he is making at least $19000 a year. With his fulltime job right now, I can say that we already meet this requirement. If we will not send his bank statements, will it affect the consul's decision?
Thanks in advance for the answers.

If you have shown them those 3 recent paystubs, they may have approved you right then. After the interview did you know then that you have those files with you. You could have submitted them while you were still there. But anyway, I think that's all really they wanted to see (recent paystubs and employment verification letter). . And yes, it is definitely a good sign that they have your passport and all other supporting documents. You'll be approved. . Good Luck! and congratz!
I realized that I have the pay stubs with me when his mother called me and told me that those are already in his original ITR folder.. I am still waiting for the Letter of Employment. He already sent a request and was told that the employer will send it to us ASAP.. I hope we can send it next week..
Thanks for the advance congratulatory message.. I do hope that I will get the visa soon!

Did your fiancé fill out the I-134 Affidavit of Support? You need that too, and last years tax return transcript from him as well.
If you have those two and also the paychecks you have and the letter of employment, it should fine.
But you need the I-134 and Tax Return for 2011.
Yes we have it, and the consul kept the affidavit of support and 2011 ITR.. The consul is only requesting for paychecks and letter of employment just to prove that he is making at least $18000-$19000 annually. The consul also kept all of my files, including my passport. It is a good sign, right?

I had my interview yesterday. Unfortunately, I received 221G form stating that we need to provide evidence of current sustained income. Can we provide his 3 recent paystubs (that's what I have right now and I wasn't able to present it on yesterday's interview.. oh yeah i know, im so dumb. i forgot that i have it on my file) and letter of employment stating how much he is paid?? Is it enough?
Thanks in advance for the replies..

It's alright. We do not include our middle name on letter of intent as well.. There's nothing to worry about.
-
BTW, you need your passport when paying for the visa fee.. Also, keep your MNL case number on hand (just in case). When I pay for the visa fee, MNL case number is not asked (only my passport). However, during online scheduling, case number and priority date are needed.
-
You can pay the Visa Fee in any BPI branch and schedule your interview appointment either by telephone or online.
Congrats anyway!

I just called today and we got our case number!! yey!

Guys good news. We called NVC this morning and got our case number. They said they received the packet last Friday. Go ahead and call and see if you guys also have yours on the system already. Good luck and thanks again for all your support!
Congratulations! That's really good news. Well, we got our approval May 21st so I guess I'll give them a few days more before I call them again. Me and my fiance are really hoping to get our case number within this week.

Yes. And she will also need to show her supporting evidences such as latest ITR, W2s and 1099s, letter of employment, recent paystubs/paychecks.
