  1. Yes I suggested that maybe they should just pay the fee but I guess they just didnt have the resources after paying rent. But having snap benefits as a parolee is supposed to be an acceptable reason for USCIS.
  2. Application was rejected for non payment. Package was then resent with proof of snap benefits attached to I-912. Claiming financial distress or hardship with no evidence didnt work in this case.
  3. Thanks for the reply Yes it was delivered to dallas lock box. Would USCIS still be likely to send out a receipt notice if there were problems with the Fee Waiver evidence? Is someone merely claiming financial hardship and homelessness without including any evidence likely to pass muster for a fee waiver request? Can lock box support accept an attached copy of the Fee Waiver evidence?
  4. Its for a work authorization issued to humanitarian parolees, I believe they issue a I-766 work authorization "pink card" to the parolee supposedly after about 90 days. Hopefully they will still issue a receipt number, so any documents that may still be needed could be uploaded online.
  5. Apparently the payment for the work permit form I-765 was never sent, and instead included only an I-912 request that lacked proof of homelessness-with just a personal claim of hardship because of finances and homelessness. Its been over a month and no confirmation or rejection notice from USCIS. Shouldn't a receipt notice have been received by now, allowing us to upload documents? Can a new i-765 with a new I-912 just be resubmitted, this time with proper proof? (now have the necessary snap papers) How about if it was re-submitted online and with the payment? Would it be better to wait for a notice from USCIS before trying to resubmit? thanks
