My interview got cancelled on the date of the interview. According to the officer, my file did not make it in the overnight mail. They told me to wait for a new interview soon. I really hope that it's not another two month wait. Today was supposed to be a super happy day; intead, I get to sit and cry.

SAD NEWS FOR ME My interview was cancelled today. The office told me that my file didnt make in the overnight shipment. I am so sad.... sad....sad.... He told me that the file might be in this week but they will let me know of the new interview date. I'll keep waiting forever and ever.

It's finally my turn for the interview. It's tomorrow at 9 am. I'm a little nervous

Im so happy for you Angie42. My local office is behind but on the USCIS website it shows processing of 5 months. Basically, my local office is reporting the wrong data to USCIS.

Did anyone apply for citinzenship in Greer SC? I am going insane waiting for them to send me an interview letter. They have to be behind with processing times. Yet, they reported to USCIS that they are processing N400 in 5 months. Well, my priority day is Nov 16, 2011 with no signs of movement yet. I am driving myself crazy. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh........... PLEASE SOMEONE IN GREER SC HELP ME...

I called USCIS today to inquire about my application. I believed the 1st officer transfered me to a 2nd tier agent, not sure about this. The 2nd tier agent told me that my application still is at the National Benefit Center. I was like "ahhhh???" I received an email on Feb. 3rd about my application being placed in line for interview. So, does anyone know if this e-mail mean that my application is at the local office? He sounded like he knew what he was talking about but at the same time very confusing. Please somebody help me with this...

I think they are not much behind scheduling.. People are friendly over there.. last month I did walk in and they told me very clearly that I will have my interview in feburary.

if you need any information regaring your case then you can just walk in as I did same couple of times.I dont have phone number for this office wish I had one

*** I am so confused now .... I called the USCIS today just to make sure they didn't have any extra information on my case other than info on the website. The girl told me that I am in line for interview (I knew this). However, she told me that this office is working on applications from August 3, 2011. So, I am wondering if she's just telling me old information because your application is from September 2011. I am so so confused. She also told me that I could ask to get my case transferred to Charleston, SC. At that office, they are working on applications from December 2011. Please tell me your secret When you said you did "walk in" did you mean infopass? Do I just simply show up at the Greer office? Do you know the hrs?

I am so glad you had your interview already.... Do you think they are behind with scheduling? I am just trying to figure out how long it's going to take to get my interview schedule.

You clear my question about oath ceremonies in the new office. I am so glad they are having ceremonies here. At the same time, all these changes are going to make the office slow.
