ok sooo my case has been in santo domingo since the 3rd and every time I call they tell me that its not there yet!!! wth is wrong with these ppl do they ever give the right info!!!!!

Yeah that happened to me as well. I hope you are not calling the actual embassy as that is a waste of time and money. Any half way accurate response is by email to the embassy and calling DOS. It took about 3 weeks from the time USCIS said it was mailed out or received by the Embassy, and when the Embassy actually said they had the physical case. Try calling on the 15th, best to wait til the afternoon. Hope you hear something soon.
