we met on facebook through a friend, and started writing messages to one another, noticing similarities in our life-we are both artists and musicians, etc.-and then we started skyping-we logged 57 hours in 2 months despite our 8 hour time difference, and our romance blossomed in a kind of old fashioned way, though it was through technology only recently available. We decided we needed to meet face to face, and she came here in December. My family and friends love her, and our love has only grown for one another. We got engaged on Christmas eve, and are now just getting into the visa process. she will return to LAtvia in just few days now. We are not looking forward to the separation, but we feel it will only strengthen our bond.
