  1. My spouse will be leaving for Los Angeles this weekend with Turkish Airline. Please I was just wondering if you have taken this airline or know anyone who has taken this airline before. I would sincerely appreciate it if you can share your experience or your spouse's experience with this airline especially when you get to Turkey. Thanks.

  2. My spouse picked up her visa this tommorrow. I am glad it is over. She will be joining me this weekend. Her flight (Turkish Airline) will depart from Lagos on Saturday arriving Los Angeles on Sunday evening. To God be the glory that she is coming to the end of her visa journey. I wish to seize this opportunity to thank every VJ for their valuable inputs and suggestions. This wouldn't have been easy without your inputs and suggestion. Thanks and God bless.

  3. I am shopping for airline ticket for next week. It is surprising that United Airline that was $1,100 as of yesterday is now $2,200. Anybody have any idea what is going on. In addition, any idea on the website where I can get a good deal. Now the visa has been approved, the next thing is shopping around for ticket. I am looking for good deal for Lagos through Los Angeles.

  4. It puzzles me why people that don't get approved come back after their interview and say that they were approved and later we find them on the site asking about "Appeals". I guess maybe they are either in denial or they dont want people to look at them as if they were failures. We all know either by experience or by reading how hard it is, so we don't have to lie, sometime the first interview always goes bad at the Nigerian Consulate. We are here to comfort each other after denials cos we eventually get passed it (like I did) You are down but not out. After my denial we had a whole year set back but here we are a year later and happier than ever. And i soo much appreciate the shoulders here on VJ that had my back and gave me advice or i could not have made it. I recommend this site to anybody that has been denied. It helps so much.

I totally agree. We are here to help and support each other. Nobody should be ashamed that they were denied. Our goal is to help each other out. One has to be honest so that we can all put our heads together and brainstorm on the solutions to the problem. If you are not honest with yourself, how can we help you.

  5. Yes, I am asking the same question. I don't know if Gowon got this information from their website.

Gowon is getting the information from the website. I just checked the United website and it is true. My spouse interview is next Wednesday. By God's grace, I will be taking advantage of this.

  6. Gowon so so true. To me the proof is just in the presentation since decisions are made already. So best foot forward. Right when you think no way no how they will be approved because of all the "what they say" approved. I have friends went through Lagos 1 visit spent 7 days got marrid never went back it was over 2 years when day of interview. Approved he's been home (the USA) almost a year. But she put together one heck of a petition and he was loaded up at interview. So who the heck knows.

Wishing your Queen all the best and God's blessings on her upcoming interview.

The MTN records what did she have to do to request those records?

Tell your spouse to go any MTN office. They will ask for some information such as card, national ID. Luckily for my spouse, she registered her number when she signed up with MTN. They will provide 3 months call history.

  7. Lje,

If you haven't been back to Nigeria to see your wife since your marriage, state the truth. Did you and your wife get together somewhere else perhaps? If so, provide travel itinerary, copies of plane tickets, any and all receipts from those visits - in order to PROVE it. If not, print off phone, email, and/or chat records which proves ongoing sincere relationship.

Always stay with the truth because I believe lies are written all over the face.

    Good luck,

    -chicagorj

We got married on November 2011. Since then, I haven't been back to Nigeria. However, I have all phone records showing our calls. We talk to each other everyday, sometimes twice a day. I have those records (rebtel records, cell phone records showing her incoming calls in addition to her MTN call records).

  8. How mush time face time when you visited that once did you spend together?

Is there anyway you can be there for the interview show up maybe a few days before so they can present your passport and know you are there thats two visits and show support.

I stayed in Nigeria for 2 weeks and the whole 2 weeks, we were together. I don't usually visit Nigeria that often. That last time I visited Nigeria before getting married was in 2006. I won't be able to travel for the interview.

  9. I noticed that one of the most common question being asked during interview is how many times the petitioner has been back after getting married. On my own situation, I haven't gone back to Nigeria after my marriage in November 2011. I started communicating with my spouse after being introduced to each other by my friend who happens to be her second cousin in 2010. The first time I met her was in 2011 and later on we got married. When my spouse is being asked this question about how many times I have been back in Nigeria after getting married, the correct response should be none. Another issue is if they asked her how many I have been there since we met, the answer should be 1. Please advise. I am open to ideas. Thanks.

  10. Hey Guy, I've been looking for you. Can you find the forum titled WhatsHappening and help that lady out? You're an expert on the subject she is addressing.

Wishing you God's favor as well! To all of us with upcoming interviews! GOD IS ABLE!

God bless Ije...are you going to your wife's interview?

No, I will be there during the interview. I will be over in Los Angeles waiting for the phone to ring.

  11. My spouse did her medical examination at Children Practice today. She paid N12,000 at Zenith. After that, Xray, tests and other procedures were undertaken before seeing a doctor. She was given three vaccinations after paying N16,500. Her results will be ready on Monday after 4 pm. However, she prefer going on Tuesday morning to collect. Thanks for inputs.

  12. As you are all aware, I am concerned about the rebtel logo not showing on the page when you print it out. I emailed their customer service and they solved the problem by running the report and emailing me the report in a pdf file format. Guess what, the report has the rebtel logo on each page. I am no longer worried. I am ready.

  13. There is a key on your keyboard that reads PRNT SCRN or if using a MAC hold the command, shift, and 3 key at the same time.

Yes, I am seeing it. Do I hold it and then copy it to a microsoft word? How do I do that? Please advise. Thanks.

  14. I know I am not alone when it come to the issue of printing the call history pages of rebtel. As some of you are aware, whenever you print out the pages, the rebtel logo is not showing on the pages. Please I just wondering if any VJer has any idea on how to print the pages showing the rebtel logo. I heard that it is unacceptable if it does not show the rebtel logo. I don't know if this has anything to do with the printer. Any suggestion.

  15. It will be fine like it is. Be sure to screen print so you get the Rebtel logo.

It is acceptable if the calls I made is showing her name instead of her number. You also mentioned about the logos. I printed about 50 pages to find out that the logo is not showing on the pages. When you suggested printscreen, you mean showing the logo on the first page. Please I was just wondering if you can tell me where you copied it. Is it on microsoft word or excel? Please advise. Thanks.

  16. I don't know if I have asked this question before. I have a question for Nigeria Vjers who used Rebtel call history as proof of call to your spouse. Please I was just wondering how many months should be enough. As I said earlier, I have calls from March 2012 till today. Please let me know if that will suffice. My spouse will get 3 months of her calls to me from MTN. Please advise. Thanks.
