  1. We have had 2 221g problems. The first one to awhile but it was taken care of, BUT by that time our exams had expired, so they sent back our passports with a new 221g requiring a new exam for each of us. Everything was completed on Sept 20 and we mailed back passports via LBC which were received 24 Sept. When do you think we can expect back our passports with visas. I hate checking CEAC everyday and looking at the refused!
  2. Can we do seminars in Pampanga rather than Manila? How quick is it to get appointments?
  3. I will have the results of my cultures AGAIN from my second exam on September 20th. Assuming it is again negative, and we immediately mail mine and the children's passports into the embassy with them receiving them Monday morning, how long should it be before we receive them back with the visas? (Our interviews are complete and approved) Thanks.
  4. Has anyone ever made their appointments for CFO before receiving visa and then returning for the sticker. With 5 of us it would make this Manila travel so much easier.
  5. My family has all been approved on W1 and W2 visas. We want to enter through LAX but after clearing immigration do we need to stay in US? My late husbands mom has a house in Mexico and the plan is to go there either same day or next day. We will stay there a month or so, while the new house is built in Florida. Can we expect any problems?
  6. Just a quick update. It will be 2 years on June 14, that we lost my beautiful son. Ruby and the kids all changed to I360. or an approved Widow's Visa. After 2 months of waiting for the TB Smears came back clear, Ruby has had her Psyc exam and immunizations, the kids are already done! Interviews are now scheduled for April 22. then the CFO #######. Hopefully I will have my family home this summer in Jacksonville!!! I am sure my Angel son is watching from above, to make sure we do it all right!
  7. I was told if I did not get a call by April 3, that would mean it is neg and to then go on April 8 for my immunizations and psyc. Has anyone had the results of no phone call and then followed with other stuff? Also, how long does layover in USA need to be to do our immigration?
  8. Yes, I do believe they try to get extra fees. My 21 year son , they did psyc on him, because he told them he is gay, and then made him get expensive antibiotic shots "to be safe", he did not have any std infection. Well I am at 5 weeks with 3 weeks to go.
  9. I am worried. I am waiting for my culture results taken Feb 5,6,7. They said if I do not hear anything by April 3, then it is negative and I return for my Psyc exam on April 8, and then me and the kids can do interview. 1. I am not sure why the psyc exam except that I am still grieving deeply for my husband? We have searched housing, just in case, and only find expensive short term, or better priced but 12 month lease required. Has anyone here had to do the 6 months?
  10. Please do so , What do you do about poop and pee?
  11. I want to take some furniture and other things, plus extra suitcases of clothing. The furniture was bought for me by my late husband, soI want it with me. I probably need 1/2 a 20 ft container. Who can I get to do it from Subiic to Florida. Also, has anyone ever taken thier small dogon a 20hr flight?
  12. Can someone explain what to give them. What is the LETTER with the Case number they ask for?
  13. Are there certain POEs to avoid when coming from the Philippines. I was thinking maybe NYC and LAX should be avoided. Any experience out there?
  14. 2 of the kids Covid cards have been lost. Will They repeat the shots at St Luke's?
  15. How many photos each do we need. Is it 4 for St Luke's and 4 for interview?
  16. Me and my children are from Subic, Zambales. My late husband Joseph was born in Davoe del Sur but was adopted and raised in Florida.
  17. So they don't give you a packet to take to interview anymore?
  18. We are booked for St Luke's on January 22nd an Interview is January 25th, will that be enough time? They were not booking interviews on Fridays, so this was our best choice. Has anyone done an exam on Monday morning and interviewed on Thursday. We are a family of 5 on W1/W2 visas.
  19. Is there an updated list of recommended places to eat affordably, with good food? Anywhere near the Embassy or St Luke's extension.
  20. Do I need my husbands original death certificate from the states, or will consulate and CFO except the emailed copies from my MIL? Also if I need an original, will my kids also each need one or will copies in their interview packet be ok, since they are now on my case as derivatives?
  21. That is what I may have to do. Prefer to keep them together, but will do the best I can do. First have to wait for January interview appointments to open up.
  22. The way I read it was that the biological mother was deceased?
  23. If we got a hotel about midway between the 2 places, would each be walkable? Any suggestions. I can not believe that we are finally at the point of this being real. I just wish Joseph was alive to see his dream coming true.
