We met while I was conducting agricultural research in China for 6 months as part of my PhD. She was getting her master's degree in a similar field. We continued our relationship after I returned to the USA and I proposed to her the first time I visited again. We filed for the fiancee visa soon afterwards, she got it, then came to the USA, we married, and finally got the green card! Couldn't be happier.
Echo sentiment: Congrats Larry & Xinji. Know you're excited, as are we. Some take longer than others, but all's well that ends well. Love rules! As for POE, I think we'll avoid IAD (bad reviews) and go for JFK or LIB instead.
