We met on the plane while we were both traveling from Vietnam to Thailand on holiday in January of 2010. She was seated next to me. After chatting briefly (plane ride was only an hour), I asked for her email and we said "see you around!". After returning home, I emailed her a few days later and we began exchanging travel stories and our experiences in Vietnam and Thailand. More emails and eventually IMs followed, where we really hit it off. A few months later, there was a trip to the States. Then a few more trips to Australia and the States. I proposed to her in April 2011 and here we are now :-).
