  1. Thank you for the replies. We looked throughout the whole passport and the only stamp was the green Philippines exit stamp. The only information I have from research is from lawyer office websites stating CBP are not stamping immigrant or citizen visa passports any longer due to trying to save time. As I checked the status of her greencard, USCIS site says it's on the way as of 29th of August. Hopefully it will be here on Tuesday and don't have to worry about it any longer.
  2. My apologies if this is in the wrong category. My wife has entered the United States under an IR1 visa. There is no stamp in her passport and now her employer is asking for the stamp. How do we go about getting this stamp?
  3. I've been viewing the Manila- US Embassy (DQ) page and it seems that a few people are starting to get IL's without any sign of a mass auto-expedite.
  4. My wife will be arriving with my 7 year old son. He will be starting 1st grade. He is up to date with Philippines vaccine requirements. We have his report card and certificate of moral character as well. Anything other docs we may be missing?
  5. They have no predictability at this time. Everything is about mass expedites and those really don't have any set pattern, just when they feel like, it seems. MY buddy had his wife's DQ January, no updates on that yet.
  6. This is similar to the previous mass auto expedites done in Jan and June of 2023. I know, I had to think about it for a moment to figure out when I requested an expedite then had that slap forehead moment.
  7. So now the next question for the next step. How long till us expedited cases receive IL's? Also I have been looking through the NVC uploaded docs and noticed that the NPC is expired, and will have to have her do that again. But does the Advisory of Marriage have an expiration, someone told me it's only good for 6 months.
  8. Jul 11 2023 DQ. We just got our expedite email 10 minutes ago.
  9. Here is something I found that might give you a clue. Found this on the travel.state.gov FAQ: If the poverty guidelines change between the time the petitioner signed the Affidavit of Support and the issuance of an immigrant visa, must the petitioner/sponsor and joint sponsor, if required, submit a new Form I-864? No, the Form I-864 remains valid indefinitely unless evidence of failure to meet the poverty guidelines in effect on the date of I-864 filing arises. The consular officer will determine whether the income claimed by the sponsor and documented with financial evidence meets the poverty guidelines in effect at the time the I-864 was filed. If the income claimed does not meet the poverty guidelines, then the consular officer may request that the sponsor submit current year income information. I would send copies of your transcripts and last few paystubs just in case, but your husband shouldn't volunteer the documents during the interview if not asked.
  10. Suggest for them to make a stop in a different country for a couple of days on the way to USA and make their anniversary extra special that way.
  11. Worst case scenario, just wait in the airport till one minute past midnight, then go through immigration (?) IMHO, I would wait to fly in the day after, perhaps take an extended layover. I know with Korean Airlines, I have options for 3.5 or 15 hour layovers for Chicago/Manila flights.
  12. As far as I know IR1/CR1 is determined by date of entry, not by interview date. So both categories should be treated the same during the interview. Maybe I read that wrong somewhere (?)
  13. There really isn't. From what I have gathered; If your spouse lands on US soil after your two year anniversary, immigration will make her visa an IR1 automatically. It's only treated differently depending if you're CR1 or IR1 while in the USA i.e. 3 year conditional residence (similar to that of the old and obsolete K3 visa). Besides most cases have been taking so long, they turn into IR1 anyways before landing.
  14. I have been also following the Manila - US Embassy (DQ) group on Facebook. Seems like ILs are being sent today; 08 FEB 2024. Those that have been IL'd that I can see for now have been for Feb - Mar 2023. So finally things are starting to move at the very least.
  15. This is the reason I am going out there to pick my Wife and Son. My wife cannot take my son out of the Philippines with her Philippines Passport and him having a US Passport. Vice versa I cannot bring my own son with my US Passport if all he had is a Philippines passport. (For my situation, this is not a US Border thing, this is Philippines BOI. Anti-human trafficking efforts.)
  16. I haven't even seen that yet. DQ 24 July. When did you get the invite?
  17. I saw that. Let's all pray we don't have a Bananorama year.
  18. It seems to be just the method the USEM uses to batch up a whole bunch of petitions, unique to Manila. The first two auto expedites happened in ends of January and June, so we all hoped for end of November. It didn't happen. So now it may be the same pattern of ends of January and June again this year, lather rinse repeat.
  19. Well, the old pattern myth has been debunked. I think there will be a mass expedite end of January, followed by another mass expedite in June like this year. December is a holiday month and you know how seriously Filipinos take their holidays, which may explain what's going (or lack thereof) there.
  20. The auto expedited happened in January and June. So if the pattern follows, we should be hearing sometime by the end of the month, perhaps because of Thanksgiving, it may happen beginning of December.
  21. We are a July DQ, I feel your pain. It seems like USEM Manila is doing auto-expedite every 5 months. Happened in January, then in June. I suspect we won't hear anything till Nov, just another couple of months.
  22. Having lived there for 4 years with my wife, flying to Hong Kong for visa runs and finally moving out during covid, they never asked me for the ACR, just the ECC.
