  1. good news!!!, and who knows you get out of all this faster than anyone here. Can't wait to hear that you have been scheduled for an Interview. keep up!!!!
  2. and who knows we may end up coming for an interview on the same day lol. Let's keep the spirits high though.
  3. I don't see my field office as we speak, but chances are it will be Long Island NY. Keep up fellas, we will all see eachother on the other side!!!
  4. Check the DOCUMENT section (if you haven't done so already) Wished if i knew the exact recipe why some get both letters and some get just one. But you should be able to receive one but if not, trust me it is not big deal. else about your field office. check this out. Enter your residential zip code here (scroll to bottom of page) -- https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-a-uscis-office/field-offices
  5. CONGRATULATIONS!!!. BTW i am september filers and was sniffing around in other months and saw your post. I hope your Ex never contacted you that USCIS contact him lol. kidding!!!! get the passport asap and get over with.
  6. Let's just not create speculation with things that you aren't sure if this is certainly going to happen or may happen. In regards of contacting EXs, USCIS don't take that route. Of course an Ex would definitely deliver negative stuff about his or her previous spouse. to check the exact date of divorce filing, they can contact a court. Why would USCIS needs to contact EX, it doesn't make sense at all.
  7. you should be seeing wait time less than 10 months if not today then probably in a few days. Dallas office is pretty fast comparing to other FO. I may be wrong but i read few posts already from those with Dallas FO. Damn i spent alot of time sniffing around different month filers. it gives me an idea when should september filers should start hearing updates on their cases
  8. I am not sure what could be the reason but if you are referring to "not getting bio reuse letter in your online account" shouldn't be a big deal. There are ppl i came across on VJ and they got their bio done at the service center and have their citizenship approved. Stay positive and give us a good news soon
  9. 9 months are pretty good timings at most of the filed offices. But majority of the posts i went through, ppl got the interview date much faster like in 4 months.
  10. no problem, i am glad you got'em both. :). Can't wait to hear from any September filer for an Interview date.
  11. check in few minutes to see if you could get biometric reuse letter in document section of your profile. that means your husband won't be going for a biometric appointment as they will use past fingerprints for verificaton. Welcome onboard btw!!!
  12. Thank you so much. I figured it would be in Long Island NY, same place i went to when filed for ROC in November 2011, was approved in for 10 years on July 2014. Another roller coaster to ride before it all ends. I was checking people input in other months' threads and looks like cases are being processed pretty fast for most of them. Even IO are working from home but doing interviews virtually, which is good and makes things go faster. Thought to share with other September filers.
  13. i know someone asked this already, but did you check document section?
  14. filed mine today September 12. Both receipt and bio reuse are in my inbox. Processing time 9 months.
  15. As you said, you guys reconciled, and the case was terminated. Expect explanation if you go for an interview with your husband, they may probably ask what were the circumstances that he filed for divorce? it shouldn't be a big deal but it is better to be prepared. I have even read cases where couples divorced within 3 years but the spouse was given GC or citizenship but everyone's case is different. Yours is pretty normal, keep up this way and you should be ok. btw i just filed mine today so please make doua for me too.
  16. tried my best to provide all supporting docs on what i mentioned there. But you never know. Thanks for the input
  17. my bad lol, yes ROC is the name for sure, where can i find my field office?

  19. Hi, I am back, I must say that visajourney is what i used in the past and been using it since 2008. Awesome site, helped millions and saved their $$$ big time. Now, It is about time that i am filing for N400 and hope my turn comes faster. I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on my post. i was given conditonal green card in 2009, applied for adjustment of status in 2011, given 10 years GC. my GC expiry coming next year in July 2024, but i thought to apply for citizenship rather renewing my GC. My question is, since i have been a PR for more than 10 years, would it make my application processing time any faster? tax return filer, nothing to owe, straight record.
