Hey Vjrs my interview is on september 20 and my boyfriend is coming from El Paso to Juarez to join me so we need any advice on how to cross the border I mean it's safe to take a taxi or it's better walking please help because his flight is on saturday! T

By the way we never received any aceptance letter (or packet 3)not even in USA and we called to Juarez (the call center) and they told us it's ok to schedule an appointment after 6 weeks of waiting for nothing so we're planning to ask for the letter in the consulate information booth Thank you and wish us luck! =D

I have a question regarding "Packet 3" we called the call center for the consulate in CD. Juarez and they have confirmed in more than 2 occasions they have sent “Packet 3” August 2 2011 which I assume is the same thing as “Invitation letter”. My fiancée has all the paper work ready, payment done and DS forms filled out, we have been waiting for that letter but we feel that it has taken a long time now, does anyone have experienced the same? If so what have you done about it?

We are considering to make the appointment and go there without it and ask for it in the “Information booth”.

We would appreciate your input on this matter, I don’t mean to be rude but please refrain yourself if you haven’t done anything through CD. Juarez as it is different on every consulate and country, we are trying out best to wait for it, but we also heard about other cases where they never received any letter at all.
