Sooo after begging to the fiance for calling NVC because it's been 7 days since NOA2 ("but babe, I don't want to call, it's written 30 days on the notice", "…"), he did and learnt that NVC received our case today and assigned it a case number! \o/

So apparently they sent our case straight to the embassy without going to NVC..is what USCIS said...anybody in the same situation?
