I just got off the phone. My petition was approved January 6. They received it yesterday and have assigned a case number and the gentleman told me it usually take 2-4 weeks to leave for the consulate, though sometimes it is sooner than that.

same here...got my noa2 in Jan 11 and noooothing yet :/

Hello everyone! My name is Kevin, and I'm here seeking some information on the K-1 Visa. We met in July of last year through facebook, and eventually met in person on October 3rd. Been together since and haven't been happier in my life. She went back home to Brazil in April of this year. Have talked everyday since she left. I visited Brazil from July 1st and stayed there until August 4th. Meeting her family and proposing to her. Luckily she said yes(lol), and now that I am back in the states it is time to begin the process. So I stumbled upon visa journey about a week ago gathering as much information as possible.
