Hi all! NVC completed our case on 11/09/2011. We were sooooo hoping to get an interview date in December becuase i am here with my wife and really want to be with her for the interview. Got an email last night informing us that the interview has been scheduled for 01/18/2012. I am very thankful for everything yet dissapointed on the other hand. Now i was to go back to work for 15 days and then spend another $1700 to come back to bring my wife back home.

Should i call the embassy to see if they can give me an earlier date? Has anyone had that experience with Islamabad embassy?

Thank you so much for your replies! I called the NVC yesterday and they told me that my file is in the building but has not been entered in to the system. I was trying to avoid getting a letter from my employer but requested one today. Want to get the AOS out to them ASAP but not sure how long it will take to get a case number assigned. I am planning on calling them every other day! Hope this does not hurt my case....

Is a letter of employment required to be turned in with the Affidavit of support?

Hang in there! Thats all i can say. We filed the I-130 @ CSC in May and its only been 4 months. Beleive me when i say this everyday, every second is hard to pass. Dont know how long the wait if going to be. VJ has become me life for now. Just praying!

Thank you so much everyone for your responses! I appreciate it. My priority date is 05/26/2011 and its showing the last "touch" date of 06/02/2011... This wait is soooo hard....

I have a quick question. As i read alot of the postings in the forum, i see alot of members saying that their case was "touched". How do i find out if my case was "touched"?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
