Thanks... Congratulations to Moe_Lisa and Hassan as well!

rightD...Congratulations on approval and for the oath AND getting done...What a relief
One quick question, was your wife asked to show documents to strengthening the proof of marriage and/or anyother documents during the interview or they just went through the application.

They pretty much just went over some of the info on the N-400 (particularly the moral character questions). The only documents they asked for were her passport and green card.

Good news from the Baltimore DO... My wife had her interview, was approved and took her oath this afternoon. We are DONE.

The day got off to a slow start... We arrived at the DO about a 1/2 hour early, but as it turned out they were running about 1.5 hours behind schedule. From the look of the waiting room they were not THAT busy, but such is life.

The interview itself was straightforward. They asked my wife 6 questions from a pre-printed list of 10, had her read and write a sentence, went over the information from the N-400 and told her she had been approved. The Officer gave her a "recommended for approval" form letter, a letter telling her to return for the oath ceremony that afternoon and also had her sign the front of one of her pictures (which later showed up on her Naturalization Certificate).

The ceremony was straightforward as well. A group of 38 participants (+ various family members) were brought to a large conference room that had been designated for that purpose. An Officer went over the packet of information that had been provided, said a few words and then handed proceedings over to an attending USCIS Supervisor. She said a few words, played the anthem, and then had the participants recite the oath and everyone recite the pledge of allegiance.

Afterwards the they handed out the Naturalization Certificates and everyone took pictures.

FWIW, the Officer told my wife that the Baltimore DO was conducting same-day oath ceremonies for people who have their interviews M-TH (and who are approved, of course).
