I'm Irish. Met my wife in Ireland in 2008 while she was studying there. I proposed in January 2009. We were married (civil union) on June 5th 2009. Planned on living in Ireland but my wife was not able to find work so she was offered a permanent position stateside. We decided that we would move to the states and I applied for my I-130 on the 12th of August 2009. The USCIS processed our file in California and that was approved in February 2010. The NVC approved our file on May 25th and I have my interview in Dublin on July 12th. That is our story so far
