Our Story
We met while I was studying abroad in France and spent 3 months together in-person. He is also a student in France, although he's Algerian. When I had to go home we decided to keep seeing each other and spent about a year apart. Then I visited him for 3 weeks right after I graduated college (May 2011) and I realized how much I missed having him in my life.
I started assembling the information for the K-1 Visa beginning in January when I had money to apply for the petition and they text confirmed it March 9, 2011. We're waiting for it to be approved so he can come here and we can get married. Then he'll finish his last year of grad school and then come to live with me here in the USA.
