You aren't getting this from the visa bulletin. How can sibling be 9 years when they are at 08APR07. How can LPR filing for adult child be 3 or 4 when they are in 22SEP15. And we don't even know their country which if he's from any of the 4 other country's add another 10 to 15 years to that.

Consular processing question
dwheels76 replied to stunna2018's topic in Bringing Family Members of US Citizens to America
There's no set time one has to stay when they first immigrate. Many people have to leave immediately for job obligations to fulfill and finish moving and packing in their country. She can turn around and leave on the next plane. Just as long as she stays in the US more than out her green card won't be in question. -
Ir1
dwheels76 replied to Mayor73ng's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
Your denied K1 has everything to do with your now petition. Look at this from the eyes of a CO, Your K1 you said was denied because they didn't believe your relationship was real (probably lack of visits or they were short). Then you married 4 years ago married and she never came back. I am surprised the CO didn't request your wife to get there immediately to visit if you want t to be approved. I have seen this happen about 4 times in the last year in Lagos. You are married married people are meeting in war zones. Married people don;t go 4 tears without seeing each other unless there are serious issues. Great they only asked about joint sponsor. But he also asked to see your chats from 2022 and 2023. He wasn't convinced you guys have communications of quality. You cam believe they are combing through that thoroughly word for word. I pray your joint sponsor is a strong income person. And yes there's always hope. So just stay positive and be patient to hopefully hear good news soon. -
You do realize there are tons of people transferring their cases to embassies that have n backlog. I am in many groups where Nigerians are transferring it could be related to transfers I would think. I know of alot of different petitions that have transferred. This report you know are all embassies world wide you know. Every category everything The report really doesn't mean anything since it's not broken down by embassy. They been a full capacity for quite some time and making great progress. You realize Lagos was 18 months wait from DQ for Interview letter just in November. Since November it is now 11 to 12 months since they are at about April 14, 2022 DQ as of last months May scheduling this is IR/CR category only I speak of.

You don't need a long explanation of why you broke up. You need to show evidence you married in good faith. Show your co-mingling of your life together stop focusing on the date after separation you should have had plenty already created before then. So many things you can attach. When you get divorce decree send that in. That's all you have to do. No explanation is required. All the other evidence I would hope you already included in your petition package. Most important evidence: 1. Joint income tax filing 2. Joint bank accounts (monthly statements since you open account). 3. Joint anything else(gym membership, credit cards, etc) 4. Insurance cards 5. Drivers license or state ID showing same address 6. pictures of trips together 7. Wills, Trust together 8. Lease/Rental agreement

Please help - Reentry permit DENIED!
dwheels76 replied to C&I's topic in Working & Traveling During US Immigration
Oh I can tell you how the lawyer meeting will go. They will either tell you to appeal or file another re-entry. You been advised to enter the US now. Make a trip get in the US there you go. You have nothing to appeal because USCIS wasn't in the wrong you were because you left before they received your case.- 39 replies

You can view my spreadsheet Case Complete to Interview Spreadsheet To update your interview date go here. Case Complete to Interview Form For New people to the thread please go Case Complete to Interview Form and input your information in the form and it will be added to the form. Everyone should be clicking on the Portal tab to visit the information for their country. If nothing is there or information needs updating. Update or add. Its up to all of us to keep this information current, relevant and helpful to others. Special Note: Different consulates or embassies have strict guidelines as to what type of bags/purses/cellphones etc can be carried in. And whether they provide any lockers (or not) for temp storage. As many travel from far away (by air/train/cars, one needs to specially know what they will not be able to take inside the consulate and where to store their personal belongings. Here are some FAQ and other tidbits that may be useful to you. Be sure to visit your countries portal and click on the Consular Information and also Consular reviews. FAQ How long after Documentarily Qualified (DQ'd) will I get an interview? With the worldwide pandemic this no longer is a timing thing. The embassies/NVC have been trying their best to fill in dates . There's no certain time any month. With F category being banned and now can be scheduled and K1's that were put aside backlogs for all embassies are great. So just watch your countries forum for DQ dates being scheduled and report back and keep us all up to date also Do I have to call for my interview date? You will get a Interview Letter when scheduled so just be sure to watch if you know they are scheduling for your DQ date. I need to change our interview date what do I do? Once you receive your interview date track your casefile. Call NVC ask when your casefile left. Then contact your embassy (email is best) and ask to be rescheduled later, earlier just ask. What do I need to bring to interview? When you receive your P4 Letter (Interview letter) it will have your personalized checklist of things to bring or not. It has been suggested because things have been lost between NVC and embassy to bring everything (Originals) to the interview so if they don't have at embassy you aren't delayed. It's up to you. It doesn't happen much but it does happen. How to expedite at NVC? Thank you Sukie in NY @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ For those wanting to know how to write an expedite letter to NVC. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Thank you NinPran's for showing us how your successful expedite was done. I have revised abit the expedite request but she did all the work. EXPEDITE at NVC How to start a expedite: Send your NVC expedite request in the form of an email to nvcexpedite@state.gov. An email request is specifically the only way to submit the NVC expedite request. Subject Line: Expedite Request /Case # First paragraph: Tell them who the Petitioner is and the Beneficiary Introduce yourself, name, date of birth, and where you reside. Same thing for the beneficiary. Second Paragraph: Reason/s for the expedite State the reason why your case needs to be expedited. Be specific. The more you can demonstrate the hardship (mental, financial, health wise) on the petitioner the better. Also include attachments of Proof Now plead your case. Asking for their approval for your request. Now is time to really use this COVID to your advantage. You might be supporting two households that’s financial hardship. You may be depressed now seeing doctor or therapist get a letter stating that.

The information is very accurate. Many of us are on various groups on Facebook and the people who are waiting report back to us. This is very true. And just as a correct. There is nothing pasted in your passport at the Port of Entry. You get a 551 stamp (temp green card). Pakistan right now is the most backlogged embassy on the planet so any embassy would be better. So once your case gets to NVC request through Public Inquiry form at NVC a transfer of your case to the country you reside in now and upload your residency permit.card and your case is transferred.

Yes there are online weddings that you can do apart anywhere in the world, but you still have to meet in person before you file. Usually the folks who do this are those that come from countries where getting married is very difficult. The main thing for you is to meet and then decide what you want to do. The likelihood of a single young person from a 3rd world country from Africa getting a visitor visa to come see a BF/GF is highly unlikely. But you won;t know if you don;t apply. if that's what you want to do. I gather that you can;t travel because you don;t have a passport and you can;t get a passport with delinquent child support correct? Get that fix for your sake. Immigration does not like back child support issues and tax issues.

Hey Ya'll it's me and I really would love for everyone here who aren't on the spreadsheet (yes I still update it with the few people who remember to do so). With so many countries now that split off and started their own threads the info isn't readily there. So please if you haven't yet please fill in the form and let us know your DQ date. If you got Interview letter let us know when that happened and your interview date. This does help others from your country to go to one place and see what's up. Also remember to also keep your timeline updated with all your dates so the Visajourney stats can be estimated and accurate. Thanks again to everyone. Because being land locked and can't travel can be a big issue. Parents get sick, die, Family members need help. I have a close friend immigrated here he waiting for his Advance Parole. Parents died like 8 months apart it took 15 months year to get his AP and EAD card. And this was before COVID. It happens. Some folk still have personal business to attend to. Some need to still fulfill their job requirements to be ab;e to truly immigrate. Many reasons why people need to travel and can't wait 6 months and such. But to expect to be here in 9 months I doubt you would be done at USCIS by then. Depends on your service center and California just posted today 16 months for K1. And depending on your country you got a wait to start processing and who knows how far out your calendar is.

Oh memories I so remember those days back in 2020. I remember when we sent in passport application in July 2020 and then the backlog was like 6 to 8 months and it took 3 weeks. I was like no way a passport is in the mail already. wooowhoooo. My nerves couldn't take these delays now. Lord now way. Congratulations Crazy Cat.

It could be back then they didn't give out the IIN so you can't log in now they send it all but you can;t do anything. Also there's no account for you to create. The account has been created. There's no need to contact lawyer you can go straight to the source and request NVC to send you your IIN since you have your case#. But you have about 3 years before you can start processing.
