I just got a hold of Military Line, and they said I should be ok to do ROC from here, as long as I have proof that shes been here with me and the family while I was serving here. That should be pretty easy, hopefully nothing comes up .

My dead little filipina fiance went to the courier yesterday and slipped the 2go guy some cash to tell her when the Visa would be there. She got a call this morning telling her tocome pick it up that they are holding it instead of shipping it to the next 2go site. Thank god , I thhought iwas going to have to book another ticket !

My fiance wants to contact Manila USEM , but can't find the contact # to call from overseas, she can't get a tracking to her 2g0 and she is getting worried because they told her by 2/1 shed have it. Shes pregnant and grumpy , I told her not to worry but honestly, shes driving me crazy . Does anyone know the number so she can call and bug them , and not me ?

For US immigration purposes, they are not married. This is because they have not been together in person since the marriage certificate was issued. A rub could be that if they now HAVE been together since that date, they could be considered married and denied a fiancee visa. It's an issue of "consummated" after proxy marriage, not one of sexual relations.

It shouldn't cost you any money , I got my 1040s and w2s for the last 3 years and it only took a week to get to me. Just call em up and tell them you need it ASAP. Getting them online costs a bit of money ,but directly from the IRS should cost you nothing!

Thats really odd, considering where some Philippines come from. When I went to Davao to visit my fiance I was amazed how content they were with the little they had. They really changed the way I looked at things back home. I always joke with my fiance that I am going to send her back if she starts to get the least bit americanized lol. I remember walking down the road and buying one of those big rc bottles from one of the little stand and I would give it to the kids playing on the road , I have never seen a happier kid in my life with a bottle of rc . My fiance knows shes not coming to a life of luxery, she is just happy knowing there is a Oriental store that sells philippine groceries near by :-P
