Well, I don't believe you checked that box. I think they may have done it out of habit. Just make sure to clear it up with the court clerk. They will call on you again and again if you don't. Keep that summons for your naturalization appointment.

Total mistake. And they WILL ask you at your interview if you've ever registered to vote illegally or if you've claimed to be a citizen before this interview. Serious offense...so don't go. Call the clerk and send in notice that you have an interview or a copy of your greencard to prove it. If you got a US Drivers License, it's possible at the DMV they checked the box to register you to vote.

Someone with a NOA1 date after mine just got approved! This is good news. I can't take hearing my text messages go off anymore. AHHHHH!!!!...LOL!

You must be looking at the Berkeley list on one and the VJ list on the other. I am 50 numbers off about myself on these 2 lists. 228 on VJ and 174 on the Berkeley.

I don't want to give bad news. But the average wait time is 4-5 months. This is just for the NOA 2 letter. Then you wait about another month for packet 3, if no RFE required. Then you await an interview date. UK can be faster with booking interviews, so it could be possible to make the November 5th deadline, however, I would not make any firm plans that will cost you deposits until you know firm dates. It's the downfall of the fiance visa. I myself am still waiting for my NOA 2. So I completely understand. I have a NOA 1 date of May 16th. I want my love here for the holidays, but we are at the mercy of the USCIS. Not much you can do except have a backup plan. Sorry hun...I know you wanted good news. It's all about patience and hoping for the best case scenario.

I think they might be away from the major damaged centers. They are in extreme northern Vermont. Close to Montreal. However, safety is the most important for those there. But like everyone else, I would hate to hear my application is floating down the river somewhere. lol Nah...it will be ok. No worries folks.

Yeah...that's why I was able to buy the CC. They offer it first to medallion members. I did opt for a slightly higher priced ticket to keep my status on Delta this year. And it reduces the cost of comfort class when you're medallion also.

HAHA the other day I thought you had elite status when you said you went to Turkey 3 times already. I need to do a mileage run, but I hope to get status with a new job I'm about to start. I remembered that someone said that the comfort class cabins were usually empty and that it was because they made it difficult to book online. I did a few dummy searches today and the other day and sure enough, I couldn't book comfort class. The cheapest flights in Dec out of Atl have me on LH so it seems like comfort class keeps missing me. AAAH!!!

I fly out of Atlanta too! I live 40 minutes north of the Atlanta Airport. It normally takes me through JFK. And I guess since I flew last they upgraded those planes to Istanbul. I also have Silver Medallion status with Delta, so that's why the $60 upgrade fee. I didn't know the food was also better. Good selling point!

AHHH They don't offer comfort class on Chicago flights. I fly out of atl but always get transferred through ord so unless I get lucky I won't even have that option. Comfort class for $60 is well worth it. I have read a lot of reports from people that have tried it and the food is better and it is less cramped. You got a bargain, they have been offering CC upgrades at some airports for $200 one way. Not to mention the CC cabin is usually quite empty. What airport do you usually fly out of?

Hey...have your flown in comfort class yet? I booked a comfort class seat to Istanbul from NY. I'm hoping it is worth the extra $60. I hate getting there without sleep, maybe this will help me rest.

Came back to let my buddies here know about the amazing deal from IAD-IST from THY. They have a special going on where it is $599 round trip (not incl taxes I think) from the previous cities. The promotion will be going on for a while. Right now the it is about 920 to fly from ATL-IST with THY.

In ATL you will be on UA then route through ORD and then be put on THY metal out of Chicago. The ORD flight doesn't have Comfort Class though.

Also, do we have any interviews coming up?

Hey there Mari! I'm hereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Counting down the days to my trip to Izmir & Antalya. YAY! 5 weeks away! We booked super cheap flights and an inexpensive boutique hotel in Antalya. Since he FINALLY will not be working for once when I visit. WHOO HOO!

I want REAL Turkish food....and time with my family. Since it has been a while, and will most likely be a long time until I can see them again after this trip. I've missed staying with Tolga in his home. Tired of looking at it through a webcam. BOOOOO!

As for my visa journey, we're on day 98. So many are being approved before their timeline estimates lately. Perhaps we will be one of the lucky ones. If not, this is what we signed up for right? RIGHT! LDR's are SO much fun right Mari girl? hahahaha

Oh yea. Mine moved a bunch too. I'm.now at 155 on igor list. I might be getting RFE but I'm still staying positive. I'm looking forward to the RFE too so I can get past that and onto the approval. Goos luck everyone.
