Met online August 2009, instantly knew it was something special. Tried to hold off on saying "I love you" until we could look in to each other's eyes for real, but we couldn't do it and said it long before we managed to meet. I finally flew to Seattle in November of 2010 (so 15 months after beginning to talk) on the VWP and stayed with him for 3 months - some called that risky - living with someone I had never met, but we just knew. About a week before I had to leave, he got down on one knee - d'awww! - and presented me with a beautiful ring. It was so so so hard watching him as I filed through the airport away from him :( But I knew we could do it, since we had waited so long to even meet the first time round. It has since been 14 months (April 2012 at time of writing) and my interview is super soon, so I'm hoping it won't be long until we are back together - it amazes me how much more I manage to love this man every day, even from the other side of the world.
EDIT: Married on August 20th, 2012. Currently working on AOS paperwork.
