  1. I have just recieved my Noa2 and am preparing for the I-134 affidavit of support. My case is that I am a U.S Citizen and decided to go to school abroad in the Philippines where I met my fiance. I am now back in the United states and am currently looking for a job as a RN (economy sucks). I took a job at kfc/taco bell and make $8.00/hr and work part time. I've been working there for about 2 weeks now. I haven't even gotten my first paycheck. While filing for the K-1 fiance visa, We were thinking that her sister who lives in Chicago would be the co sponsor. (I'm in California). Is that ok? what do I put on the I-134 form for myself when I get to number 7 where they ask for the income and employer? Does her sister put in my fiances information and when she gets to Number 3 (number three is who the affidavit is for). And what is this I-864 form? Thanks guys.

  2. I'm filing for a K-1 visa for my fiance and I just recently sent in the I-129F package on April 5, 2011 and along with the package, the first page was the G-1145 form. I also made it certified so i knew if they recieved it as well. I sent the package to:

    USCIS

    P.O. Box 660151

    Dallas, TX 75266

I tracked it online at the usps website and it says that it delivered on April 8,2011. I still haven't recieved anything from USCIS and I thought that i would recieve a txt and email once they recieve it saying that they recieved the mail with in 24 hours. I don't know how to proceed. Should I just keep waiting? Did I do anything wrong? I triple checked the information on the form and I filled out everything they asked for.

  3. Allright. Thanks for the input everyone. I have another question but really off topic. How do i prepare my package to present to USCIS? by presenting I mean do I make it like a book where I write numbers on all the pages and make a table of contents? and i've read that i should two hole punch the whole thing and use a ASCOS fastener. Can someone give me a site or a reply on how to prepare the whole package. (I have all the documents i need already, i just need to put them in order. And i have a cover letter that i used from this website and i followed that) Thanks for all your help. I hope that when i'm done with this, i could help others as well going through the K-1 process.

  4. Thanks everyone but I think some didn't understand what I was trying to say. I AM AN AMERICAN CITIZEN. I was born and raised here. I was just asking because I was planning to put the stamps on my philippine passport in my 1-129 package along with the stamps on my US passport. And i don't have supporting documents to support my PHILIPPINE PASSPORT. I just have the Philippine passport itself for proof for my citizenship in the PHilippines. My US Citizenship if fine and I have all the supporting documents for that(ie passport and birth certificate). So I was just worried that they might ask me for supporting documents for my PHILIPPINE CITIZENSHIP. Also i asked this to see if being a dual citizen would make me do additional things that may prolong my filing. thanks

  5. Hello everyone. I'm in the process of sending my I-129F package and i'm on the last leg of finishing the package. My question is, I'm a dual citizen. I'm a filipino Citizen and an American Citizen. I was born here in the United States but since i went to school over there in the Philippines, i became a dual citizen. Will this by any way affect my petition? I'm basically using my American Citizenship all the time but i do have a philippine passport. And i have about 3 stamps on my philippine passport. should i include that in my proof of being together or will it just jeopordize my filing? All i have is my philippine passport and nothing else to support my dual citizenship. (i don't have the certificate of naturalization because it was lost in a flood.) Thanks.

  6. Hello everyone, I'm fairly new at this and i've been reading up on this site especially and trying to get as much information i can about the I-129F package. Well, here's my question or a few actually. I have mostly everything down already (i hope) and i was wondering, Do i need only 4 G-325A forms or just one for each? And we use yahoo messenger as our way of contact, I have chosen about 7 conversations out of plenty and i'm wondering if i have to print and translate all of them? or can i just print 1 page with a scroll at the side showing how long the conversation is. (because when i try to print the conversation, it just prints the actual page on the window. which gives me a part of the conversation that could fit and on the side, there's a scroll bar that was about an inch long.) these conversations are about 9 pages long each at 10 pt font and i have printed them out and translated them and it's a lot of paper and my package is pretty thick now. Another question is that is all the pages supposed to be signed? even the attachments and proof of relationship? I'm hoping not because I feel right now that i'm ready to send it in but if i needed the signatures, that would mean i would have to send it to her and have her sign it and that would take 2 weeks at the minimum. Another question is that for the proof of relationship, should I just put a small explanation on a post-it about the evidence or should i write it on the back? thats also including the passport stamps and itineraries (do i have to write that i went there, then came back). thanks!!
