In 2007, I met my husband on CatholicMatch.com. He came to the U.S. in 2008 and then, later that year, I went to see him in Slovenia where we got engaged. Our K-1 process took about 7 months, much longer than we anticipated given that Slovenia is a visa-waiver country. We now have 2 children and my husband is a U.S. citizen.
