    Our visa journey was a long and tough one, but it made us stronger through its hardships. We continue our story with God's grace and finally together. We were approved on 6/18/2013. My husband now is home :) Now we start the next chapter of our lives together.

    Regardless of what the CO decided in our case....we are still going strong. Here is one decision which was wrong!

      dwheels76 thanks for the encouraging words. Through the speed bumps I have discovered that nothing can change true love. Only God is in charge of our destiny...not humans.

      I know you can empathize with us. And I agree with you, the CO was wrong! I am traveling to Nigeria the end of August to marry my best friend :) I know that I am not going to want to come back home without him. We will stay strong for each other and for everyone else who is going through this ordeal. Your words of encourgement are wonderful. Thanks :)

      Thanks BasseyAlexia for your comments. I feel for others, not just for my fiance and myself. It is important to learn and give back in this hellish process. The ones who have succeeded in their visas, I am elated for them. For the ones that have not been so lucky, I am advocating for all of us. God bless and may your travel be a safe and happy one.
