  1. Is it possible for a parent to be interviewed SEPERATELY, based on one parent being DQ'd first before the other parent is DQ'd? Can I request NVC for them to be interviewed together? This is for London, UK
  2. do they need to go to each of their respective local registrars
  3. Mum and Dad's Philippine BC's were rejected. Both are from the 'Office of the Local Civil Registrar' - does it need to say PSA on the document???? I'm confused. Luckily, they are vacationing right now in Phils. Do they need to get an endorsement or other? @nelmagriffin Mum is from Narvacan, ilocos sur. Dad is from Bani, Pangasisan. Will they need to go to each of their respective local registars to fix this? Please advise.
  4. same message for my mom. Birth certificates are in ENGLISH. No need for translation. Are both from the correct authority body in the Philippines.
  5. right except that in my case, income is not sufficient, as well as having no joint sponsor. What I do have is real estate equity with an appraisal.
  6. I filled and submitted I-864 - still in the early stages of the NVC process - has not been assessed yet by NVC. I have 2 properties. 1 primary in Oklahoma, 1 rental/investment in TX (currently no tenant occupied - moved out in August), after which I put the house on the market. Has about $100k equity. has been appraised for $275k, remaining balance about $168k. How much of a pain for the I-864 would it be if I didn't end up selling the TX property and we occupied it, rather than live here in OK? Where the form asks where would my parents live, I put down the OK address. But there is also space for them in the TX house.
  7. 2023 joint tax/ joint income -$93,947 2022 joint tax/joint income - $119,268 2021 joint tax/joint income - $115,382 I have tax transcripts and W2's selling rental property appraised at $275,000, equity of $100,000 after paying loan balance of $168,000 household size 7 - $59,175 current (self not joint) income $45,760 difference = $13,415 * 5 = $67,075 Thoughts? For the property, I have appraisal report, deed and mortgage loan balance. Do I also submit 2023, 2022 and 2021 W2's?

  9. awesome thank you for sharing!

  11. petitioner and using rental property for supplemental income do i need to fill out I-864, I-864A or I-864EZ I am sponsoring 2 parents (mum and dad).
  12. When it comes to using real estate/property as supplemental asset Do I need to show an APPRAISAL for the properties? OR Can I show the county tax assessment record?
  13. Is the DS-160 fee x the number of persons in the family? i.e $205 x 4? https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/employment/temporary-worker-visas.html#fees
  14. parents have not lived in the Philippines since 1970's. It's one thing for NBI to be valid at DQ document upload stage at NBI but by the time and interview is scheduled, it will have expired.. that's my clear concern.
  15. yes I know the nbi is 1 year valid. but that still doesn't answer my concern or question
  16. where in that link does it explain that the nbi police clearance needs to be valid at the time of interview? for example. NBI expires Feb 2024, DQ Jan 2024, interview might be who knows when...
  17. Does NBI have to be current and valid at visa interview stage? What if NBI is valid at NVC to become DQ'd but expires before interview?

  19. agree. though I see no explanation on why a 2015 PD F4 I-130 and others like it were approved and now at NVC stage.\ My 2013 PD I-130 hasn't had any movement. But I hear others say its because 2013 needs to show current on table B - true or false?
