We were both travelling and met in the middle of the desert in Chile Jan 2010 (He is a dual citizen of Chile and the US). Love at first sight. We were both doing the same trip through Chile and into Peru. Met up in Cuzco, Peru and went on our first date 10 days after we met. That night we got caught in a natural disaster which intensified things! We stayed together there for 3 weeks helping out with the disaster. Decided to travel back to Chile together to meet his family :) Extended my trip by 6 months to stay with him in Chile. After that started talking very seriously about our future. I returned to England to start saving. Alex came to visit me in England for 3 months. We decided the US was the perfect compromise for to combine our lives so after England he then left for the US to start setting up over there. I'm in England busy saving whilst we wait (patiently!) for our K-1 :)
