  1. I feel a little better knowing I am not alone in this. I call several times a day and have had email traffic back and forth with NVC. I did talk to a very helpful USCIS officer. He said this is not uncommon and there is no problem.... This is sometime done to slow down the numbers of interviews at consulates (unofficial response of course :) ) The officer said just to keep calling it will happen.
