  1. I remember the first few times I navigated this site. I received an RFE and I was wingin it. I really needed help. Thank God for this treasure trove of information. After a couple of days I was armed with the information I required. Believe me, I know how some of you must feel. The entire process is mind boggling, but with a lot of help from the 1000s of users here the light in front of you will get clearer and not seem like an oncoming freight train. I don't know about all of the additional hurdles Bone Spurs has put in your way. But, the law is the law and you MUST stay within them. In 5 years, you will laugh at yourselves for over stressing. Stay focused on the process and your loved ones. If I can do it, I know all of you can too. You should tell all of your family and friends about this valuable website. Information is key in this mission you have been given. From the filing of the I-129F right up until the moment my wife and kids were naturalized. You can't let up. Never Give Up. Your loved one will be walking across that stage to be given that Naturalization Certificate. Just remember why you are doing it. You ask yourself "Why am I beating myself up over this"? Remember the prize. Your family will be so proud of you for doing what it takes. That is called the American Spirit, unlike no other. You are navigating a convoluted process. You most certainly be intimidated. But, this is a fight you can and must win. You will do it. You just will, Good Luck to all of you. And God Speed!!!
  2. They are specific about what they want. They need for you to confirm through any available records that the sponsor is financially qualified. They want to make sure all of the parties will not become dependent on the government. So, you have been given a mission, Execute the mission along with dotting all of the I's and crossing all of the T's. Welcome to the world of The Visa Process. You've Got This!!!
  3. I will contact one of the best immigration attorneys in the country. He started in a tiny office in Detroit in 1978. He has a large firm now in Farmington, MI. He won't steer me wrong.
  4. Every airline offers travel insurance. For her, it was about $200
  5. My mother-in-law is about to embark on her B-2 Visa Journey. She will be visiting for 5 months and one week. She is a glorious 82 years of age. She is in excellent health for her age. When she returns from the US back to the Philippines in March are we allowed to petition her for a Green Card (I-130)? Or is that considered fraud? Will she still be able to travel freely between the Philippines and the US while her I-130 is in progress? If she is caught traveling, is that FRAUD?
  6. My mother in law has her B-2 visa in the Philippines. She is 82 years old. Once she is here, what is the process to go from a B-2 Visa to Immigrant/Green Card? My wife is a US Citizen. What guides show the step-by-step process? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
  7. We scheduled a B-2 interview for my 82 year Filipina widowed mother-in-law. How does the US Embassy apply their policy on whether to subject her to an interview based on old age? How does the Embassy make the decision and notification to the applicant?
  8. Is it because from that first day, you could not get her out of your mind? Is it because you can't stand being away from them for one minute? Is it because they have seen the worst in you and still end up loving you even more? Is it because of the way they smile? Is it because they always see the best in you? Is it because of the way they touch you? Is it because he/she does not want to have you post this and you persist? Ha Ha!!!! For me, a life without her and the kids would be worse than death. I like to keep things so insanely simple!! How about you? Don't be shy!!
