question about the nvc...Ive been calling since wednesday and this afternoon they told me they had recieved it on tuesday but we dont have a new case number yet...has this happened to anyone else??

All applications go to the NVC to get a new case number and then sent to your embassy. Start calling the NVC next week. Congrats

We put in a service request on March 15 and got our approval on March 31. Every situation is different. Deff get your congress representative involved and your local representative (we are still waiting for our congressman to get back to us since contacting them on March 15 ) Your NOA2 is coming soon!

My dad is our co sponsor for our k-1...he is very concerned about his social security number being on everything and having it going through the mail system and customs...so can I black out his social except for the last for digits on everything to give him some peace of mind or does it have to be on there...
