When we went through secondary interview at the POE yesterday for CR1 and CR2 we gave CBP the yellow packets and they had the vaccination cards inside. The CBP kept everything including the vaccination paperwork. Now I need the vaccination card for my daughter's school. Should they have returned this form to us when we went through the POE? Can I get a copy from them for the school?

I'm about to file I751 for my wife. She came here on a CR1 visa. On the USCIS website, it says "You must pay a $85 biometric service fee for each person applying ". Is this included in the $595 fee or a separate fee? Does this mean I have to get her finger print?

I filed my k1 visa petition back in March 2020. All been approved and sent to Ho Chi Minh US consulate trying to schedule interview. However I m learning just now how strict the consulate here is compared to other countries

I went to meet my fianc proposed and did engagement ceremony all on my first and only trip provided documents and photos required. all that was required based on eligibility to file K1 visa compared to having long engagement relationship and at least 2 or 3 trips prior to filing that the officer in Ho Chi Minh may look for

do I still have chance to see my fianc get approved for her visa? I am excited and anxious and tired at the same time hoping for my fianc to arrive

Hello All,

I finally received my NOA2 March 17th, I submitted it Jun 1, 2020.

I'm going thru my packet for the I-134 and in it I need a statement from my bank - Do i just contact my bank for this? I've also attached my W2 and IRS Wage and Income for the past 3 years.

Also what about the letter from employer? I just write up a letter stating when i stared, how much i'm making, and i'm in good standing and have my HR rep or manager sign it?

Concurrent Filing of Form I-485 with an online I-130 submission?

I am a U.S. Citizen, and my wife has an H-1B visa. We currently live in the U.S.

I have filled out the online version of the I-130, Petition for Alien Relative. However, we would also like to concurrently file the I-485 (Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status), as well as related forms: I-765 (Employment Authorization) and I-131 (Travel Document). The I-130 Where To File documentation notes: "You cannot file Form I-485 or Form I-129F online at this time".

However, it appears that it is still possible to concurrently file an I-130 and I-485, even if they are submitted separately:

To be considered concurrently filed, the immigrant visa petition and the adjustment of status application (Form I-485) are filed at the same time and mailed together with all the required filing fees and supporting documentation to the same filing location. They will also be considered concurrently filed if the adjustment of status application (Form I-485) is filed after the immigrant visa petition but while the immigrant visa petition remains pending.

Is it possible to submit the 1-130 online and then subsequently submit the I-485 and other forms on paper by mail? Does anyone have experience with this? Would there be drawbacks compared to a purely paper submission that could all be mailed at once?

I have a strong proclivity towards online submission, and am more comfortable operating by digital files and forms rather than snail mail. But I don't want to complicate an already complicated process. Any advice?
