US Immigration from Vietnam

I submitted my petition for my fiance back in April 2021 and received my NOA1 later that month and I'm awaiting for my NOA2. In HCMC, Vietnam locked down for a while now due to the covid situation, how does this affect the process going forward? I've heard anywhere from the U.S. Embassy not operational, or limited, or only handling few interview a day. Does anybody know any information regarding the current K1 in Vietnam? Thanks

Hello all, I sent back my wife's green card filling out form I-90 due to her first and middle name being reversed. Called USCIS and they informed me that the replacement green card can take up to a year to be sent. My wife's Immigrant Visa stamp in her passport states, "Upon endorsement serves as temporary i-551 evidencing permanent residence for 1 year." The USCIS agent informed me that the passport stamp can be used as a temporary I-551 for 1-year from date of entry into the US. Does this match the experience with members on the forum? Just want to double check before leaving the country for a short vacation. Appreciate any input on the matter. Thanks!

Also, the magic words to speak to a human agent on the USCIS 800 line is "lost green card."

We filed form I-751 for removal of conditional status, however, the 18 month extension they gave us with the NOA after filing the form is over. Do we have to file another work authorization form to continue working? Thank you.
