If you are near Las Vegas use @Loren Y a VJ member. He a register officiant in Nevada. He got me married and marriage license in hand in less than 45 minutes. He available in the morning.

We pre-filed for a marriage license online to make it quicker. We meet on the Clark county clerk office at 8am. He even drove us to the marriage license office which was 5 minutes away to save us some money on parking. Took us to a small park to marry us. Took us back to the Clark county clerk to register the marriage. Once he register the marriage we got the marriage certify copies right away.

I had no witness so his wife was available to be the witness for me.

As people on K1 Visa our time is limited to get the marriage certificate in time for AOS. I was looking at getting married in orange county at the court house that was looking at 1-2 weeks just to get the copy of the marriage certificate.

Thank you @Loren Y

Dual Citizenship - Vietnam & USA

This is confusing to me in term of traveling. I know for a fact that Vietnam allows dual citizenship. However, from my understanding, the US does NOT allow dual citizenship, please correct me if I'm wrong. I am citizens of both Vietnam and USA.

I have both US and Vietnamese passports. If I travel to Vietnam, assuming I don't want to pay visa fee, do I need Vietnamese officer to stamp both passports? Because if I just show Vietnamese passport, then when I return to the US and show my US passport, the US officer would not see any stamp and he might question.

How do I avoid visa fee? In other words, how do I travel using both passports correctly?

Is this status normal for K1? I thought for K1 all required documents is brought to the interview instead of sending it to the NVC?

Hi there,

I also paid the fees on July 15th 2019, and Entered United States on Sep 10th 2019.

Today is over 120 days since I entered United States. I received an email from USCIS, They said that :

"We have received your service request and are researching the status of your application. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.
A search of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records indicates the Immigrant Fee has been received. However, USCIS is still trying to locate your Department of State (DOS) issued Immigrant Visa (IV) Packet, which should have been sent to USCIS by DOS or the Port of Entry (POE) when you entered the United States. USCIS requires a completed IV Packet in order to process your Permanent Resident Card (PRC).
Currently, we are waiting for confirmation on whether or not your IV Packet has been added to your USCIS immigration record. If we locate the IV Packet in your record, we will produce your PRC as soon as possible and we will send you another email to notify you that the PRC is being created. If we receive confirmation that your IV Packet is not in our records, you may need to make an appointment at your local USCIS Field Office to have a new IV Packet created. If that is the case, we will send you another email or letter, informing you that you need to make an appointment at the field office.
At this time, you do not need to take any further action. We just want you to know that we are working on your case and trying to get a resolution as soon as we can. We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your patien".

Anyone got same problem ? Please support me. I want to know how long normally does it take

Thank you so much !.
