I have found several topics related to dependent children filing with a parent going back to 2008 and each questions gets several differing responses with both sides warning of RFEs, so I was hoping I could get a more definitive response from those of you with recent experience.

We are preparing the application and evidence for my wife and her 10 year old daughter to remove conditions. They both received their green cards on the same day in 2018 and are eligible to submit the application as of July 31.

- Am I sending one application? Or an application for my wife and a second application for my daughter? My wife's application lists her daughter and we are checking that she is applying to remove conditions with her mother in Part 5.

- I am the U.S. citizen and have two U.S. citizen children who will be aged 20 and 16 at the time of applying. My wife also has a son who came to the U.S. 6 months after his mother and sister and will be filing to remove conditions separately from his mother. We have listed all 4 children in part 5, but only checked that the above mentioned daughter will be removing conditions with her mother.

- IF we are sending one I-751 for both mother and daughter, I still send 2 application fees and 2 biometrics fees, correct? Should it be 2 checks for $680?

- Since my wife and her daughter are in the U.S., they do NOT need to submit passport photos?

Thank you for your help and clarification. To date, this application has been the most confusing so far. I don't even want to start thinking about the citizenship application for 2021 yet!

We're filing An's N-400 application online, and it asks if she has ever used another name. Since she's Vietnamese, we had the fairly common situation where her first and middle names got switched upon her immigration (due to the way the names appear on Vietnamese documents). So until she got her green card, she just went by her middle name followed by her first name for official purposes such as adding her to my bank accounts, enrolling in school, state ID card, etc. Then, when she applied for her green card, all she had to do was put the name she wanted to go by on the application, so she switched back to her first then middle name at the time. That's how her green card came, and she was able to use that to then change everything over to her real name.

Of course, on the application, we put that she had also gone by Middle First Last. When we get to the document upload section, it asks for "the legal document that formally changed your name." There wasn't really a legal document, she just switched it on her green card application. I tried to just not upload anything for this section, but it throws up a warning - "You should provide evidence. If you do not provide evidence, your application processing may be delayed."

What should we do here? Just leave it empty anyway? I'm baffled as far as what we could upload there that would show what they're asking. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Has anyone had this issue?

I deleted beneficiary civil documents I uploaded but did not submit because I needed to use different versions.

Now I am getting this page when I try to upload.

Is this a common problem? Is there a fix? I've tried 4 different browsers with no success.

I have created a letter to show the NVC that I intend to reestablish US domicile and return to the USA, can you please tell me if it appears that it would satisfy the requirements?

Also, should I create one PDF with the letter and all supporting documents together, or separate the supporting documents into their own PDF files and upload them seperately?
