US Immigration from Venezuela

Good evening, My wife filed for citizenship on Feb. 3, 2023 and had her biometrics on Feb. 24. We are teachers, so summer is our time to visit family. It is seeming that she might get an interview in May, but also in June or July. How long in advance do they let you know about this interview? Should we be careful about our travel plans, or can we visit family and postpone an interview if it comes up when we are out of the country? We are in the Denver area and it says the estimated decision time is 8 months on USCIS.

My I-751 based on abuse waiver (battery) was approved finally after years of waiting (submitted in March 2020 and I got it approved on November 2022) however I just realized that the category it displays says IR6 and per my understanding it should rather display IB6 since I did a self petition without my ex wife help. By the way I have a N-400 pending that was submitted in Sep 2021 (under the 3 year rule since abuse waiver qualifies for it) which is now behind normal processing time, would this USCIS error be the cause for the delay in my N-400. I do t know why would they make this mistake if I clearly applied for the removal of my conditions just checking the abuse waiver square.

My citizenship interview is literally 2 weeks from today! I think I m good on the civic test but just wanted to confirm.

for the questions that do NOT ask you to name one or two items, for example, what is the rule of law? there are 4 answers. Do we need to memorize all? Or just one. There are some questions in which they ask you to only name 1 or 2 answers but what about the ones that don t ask you that?

Should we know all or just 1 answer?

Just venting here. We filed for AOS back in June 2021 via the Atlanta office. In September 2021 we got notified that we are scheduling you for your Green Card interview, we will notify you. So far nothing. When I checked the Atlanta office online last year it showed 26 months for 80% of the cases to go through for I-485 AIS. Now I check and it s 36 months smh.

Hi there! I filed for removal of conditions in sept 2021. SRC and then transferred to NBC. I m having my N400 interview next month in Houston. My letter did not say anything about a combo interview. Should I mention it to the officer?

Do you guys have a list of paperwork I need to bring to the N400 interview? Is it okay not to have a lawyer present?
