TAX - WITHDRAW LPR STATUS

Hi All,

I have decided to withdraw the LPR status in the US.

I have been living in the UK, working here and paying my taxes here. I think I am eligible for the 2555 Form:

"The tax law permits certain U.S. taxpayers to exclude up to $80,000 per year of earnings from taxation if they live and work outside the U.S. for a year or more"

Could anyone here tell me if I submit the withdraw form with a letter explaining that I am in re-entry permit period (and I have not declare taxes for the US, only here in the UK) will I be exempt of any tax file process?

Thank in advance for your help.

Regards,

Lis

I married a women from Venezuela, She is in the US with her two children 13 & 11 with all pending asylum cases.

We want to file for adjustment of status to obtain green cards. On the USCIS site it says I have to send 3 different I-130 forms one for each?

Do I have to pay the 535 fee for each? I thought I could just send in one I-130 because the children are considered derivatives?

Then once that is done or concurrently file forms I-485 one for each. We would like to get the ball rolling I'm just not sure how many I-130's to send in and

also would like the children to be able to travel to see their biological father in Chile.

However, its been over a month and apparently my application has been under "investigation".... does anyone know what that means???

can i still get a job with my old social security card or do i have to get the new one?
