What would you guys do? I'm waiting for my ROC on an abused spouse waiver. Which I filed for on March 2020, if I had my 10 years GC I would just disregard the letter and move on with my life, but since it is not approved yet I'm not sure what to do.

I became a US citizen under the 3 year rules last year. I got divorce right after the ceremony and now I have a new partner which I want to married and help him with the green card.

Do you think we are going to have any issue with USCIS when we go to the interview?

My previous marriage was legitimate and we spent 5 years married.

I just want to know if it doesn't look bad that I became a US citizen and a few months after we ended getting divorce.

Saludos!

Anybody given up on getting a K1 Visa and just got married?

So I am curious if anybody has given up on the K-1 process. I realize we are in the same boat as 100's of others but now it's getting down to crunch time. We were supposed to interview/physical/Biometrics in Bogota this week, but my fianc is stuck here in the USA, our paperwork is held up by the NVC and she can't even fly to Bogota from the USA. On top of that her B2 Visa runs out in 4 weeks and she applied and paid for an extension ($455.00) but have heard nothing from the NVC. So in 4 weeks we have to make a decision to just go get married here in the USA and forget about the K-1 if we do not get her B2 Visa extended. Anybody else do this? what are the Pro's & Cons of doing this?

Venezuelans' input requested

Hi. My mother-in-law is a green card holder. Her passport is from Venezuela and expires in September. There is an extension you can apply for online for 5 years, however, the crooked Maduro government has allowed her passport number to be stolen by a Colombian woman. My mother-in-law is 90 years old, and they probably assumed she passed away. Anyhow, can't renew online because her passport ID# was stolen/hijacked. None of the Venezuelan embassies' phone numbers actually work. Does anyone on here from Venezuela have any suggestions? Any contact info for the Venezuelan embassy to get this straightened out? I realize nothing is simple with Venezuelan embassies in the best of circumstances, and this will likely be a long drawn out battle, but if anyone has any info whatsoever that will help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
