Receiving back pay after moving to US |

My husband came to visit right before the pandemic hit and we decided to get married earlier than originally planned and apply to adjust status. He had to quit his work back home and still has a bunch of things that he left unfinished. Just recently, he got some things in order, including pay he was owed and arranged to have it sent to us. Since he didn't receive his final pay until long after we got married, would that be counted as income on our 2020 tax return? Or if it's money that was due to him for work done before he moved here and we got married is it considered something else?

Hi everyone! I would like to know if anyone have the fingerprints appointments if your I-485 was accepted since June 2020. Because I have the letter that said that was accepted on June 15. But after 5 months I don't have my appointment. I don't have idea if I am going to have any chance in this year. It will be helpful to know if everybody are like me or if anyone has any answer about the appointment for the fingerprints. Thanks so much!

As a US citizen, I am looking to apply for the I-130 for my parents and sister. My sister lives in Bogota and is 36. My parents travel back and forth from Venezuela to Bogota. Can someone explain the process in obtaining a I-130 for my family or is there another option? Is better just to apply for my parents? Thank you.

So we have decided to end our K-1 process and get married and go for the AOS. My question to anybody out there who might know. What if she gets the Green Card yet the passport from her country has expired? Does she go to her countries embassy here in the USA to get a new passport? I am assuming she cannot travel outside the USA on an expired foreign passport? Any advice appreciated.

The US Embassy in Bogota had a live feed today on Facebook and stated they would not be doing any K-1 visa's unless it was a life or death situation, and that they are still closed....:(
