Hi there I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on an issue I m having. I was granted a permanent resident card back in 2013, after entering on a K1 visa. I lived in the USA with my husband and our daughter until 2017, when we decided to move to the UK to be closer to my family. Back in September I found out I had to formally cancel my resident status with USCIS, and filled in the paperwork and received a notice that they had processed my case. It has been 92 days since the paperwork was filed, and I have gone on to renew my ESTA for an upcoming trip in April, but it is still telling me I am not authorised to travel to the states. What more do I need to do?! Does anyone know why my ESTA keeps getting denied? Any advice greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

I've seen conflicting information for what is a Public Charge. I just need to know if these will hinder our K-1 case or be considered a public charge. 1. Child's social security benefit from disabled parent. 2. Tenncare/Medicaid, I think. (Didn't know my ex still has my child on it.) 3. Earned Income Credit on tax return.

1-Hi, just submitted required civil n fin... Docs to the nvc yesterday. We submitted pics to prove our relationship on the link for photographs.hope that is OK cus I just realized most people are uploading passport sizes. 2-My spouse just naturalized last month and reached the nvc via (letter)post and email as well with a copy of her naturalization cert. So that the case can be upgraded to CR/IR But till date we haven't heard from nvc regarding that. It took from 25july (uscis approval) - 6 November nvc email of received approval about 3 months. I thought maybe nvc updates our profile/account so that when we login we can see CR/IR instead of F2A

This may be a really stupid question, is there anything specific I need to take with me when I visit England next week? I m English, living in Pennsylvania. I have my green card, my work permit, my driving license, etc. I ve been here over a year and have a job etc etc. I m going home on Monday for 2 weeks and I just wanted to double check what I need to take in case I ve forgotten anything. Obviously I ll have my passport and my green card. Someone suggested I take a copy of my marriage certificate as my passport says miss and I m mrs now. Anything else I need to have with me? thanks.
