The State Department is suspending routine visa services at all embassies and consulates worldwide due to the coronavirus pandemic. In response to significant worldwide challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of State is temporarily suspending routine visa services at all U.S. Embassies and Consulates, the department said in an advisory posted on Friday. Embassies and consulates will cancel all routine immigrant and non-immigrant visa appointments as of March 20, 2020." The move comes following the State Department s issuance of a global Level 4 Travel Advisory urging Americans not to travel abroad. The department also announced Thursday that it was suspending regular passport services and only offering services for those with life-or-death emergencies. As resources allow, embassies and consulates will continue to provide urgent and emergency visa services. Our overseas missions will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date at this time," the department said in the advisory on Friday.

Once I filled N-400, my I-751 was transferred to NBC in August 2019. I applied for ROC in Aug 2018 in TSC, my application is out of normal processing time, but since it got transferred to NBC, I was advised to send a letter to NBC, inquiring about my application. I was wondering if anyone has done so and what were the outcomes? Can I ask them to send it to my field office in order for us to have a combo interview? Very confused Thank you in advance

Hi I received my I-797 notice of action that my K-1 fiancee is approved for the period 3-2-2020 to 7-1-2020. When will my fiancee be receiving instructions from USCIS what to do including her medical requirements and interview process? She told me today she still hasn't received anything from USCIS 13 days now after the notification. Is this something she is expected to know, and if so, besides the medical doesn't she need to get a statement from the police that she isn't a criminal and what else? Does anyone have a list they can share with me and where i can find the approved list of doctors in Kyiv, Ukraine? Also, the process of contacting the embassy in Ukraine to set up the appointment? Thanks,

I am filling out this for for my parent to adjust her status from the tourist visa to a green card. They are asking to provide annual gross income. Well, my parent never worked in US what information am I supposed to provide instead? The income she earned at the country of origin? Or do I leave it blank and just submit affidavit of support, since we will be sponsoring her anyways? Also, is making over 250% of poverty guideline to sponsor your parent will be enough for USCIS to pass her on income part of application,or does she have to have 125% of poverty guideline of gross income regardless of how much money my family has? Thank you.
