We received our first RFE which included a request to provide more substantial evidence of our meeting in the past two years. I think we screwed up and didn t do a thorough enough job the first time. We included airline itineraries but not always the boarding passes. We didn t include passport stamps. We relied too heavily on photo evidence. We re going to do better this time. A couple of questions arose as we were going through this though: 1) Do we need to provide translations of visas in our passports if we provide them as evidence? 2) Will they be interested in evidence of meeting since the date of our application? Or should we stick with only the two years prior to the application? 3) They mentioned in the RFE that we should include a duplicate copy of the evidence if we are requesting consular notification. What does this mean and should we include duplicate copies with the response? We would appreciate if anyone has any insight they could share. regards, Stephen and Antonina.

Hello everyone. Me and my husband are a little bit confused. I had my interview 2 weeks ago. The officer gave me 221g yellow paper and said they need more time to go through my papers. He kept the papers and passport, didn't ask for more documents. Said that they have everything and they will make a decision in a day. No info for 2 weeks already. The problem is that last year my husband started a business, so his last year documented income was only 20k. But years before it was over a 100k. We did added his assets and thought it will be fine. But the officer said they need to look more. So I was put to Administrative processing. I checked my status it was AP for a week, then was ready to interview for 3 days, and now 4 days on AP again. Really confused. Maybe someone had the same situation?what should we do?

Hello guys.We sent out I-129F for K1 on August, how long do you think it will take them to process our case in USCIS? I checked that they currently processing cases that were sent on March, but I guess it's not true as those who sent their I-129F already got their NOA2 in July based on timelines here.

Hey guys, Anyone have any experience with Ukraine K-1 process in where they ask for originals vs copies. We've been sitting on the completed documents for little over 5 months and now that we got accepted for an interview we're seeing/hearing that the financial portion of the documents need to be "Original w/ Wet Signature"? She called this morning and they gave her an earful mention that ever single financial document needs to be original with wet signature. She then told her we have (in our case) an I-134f, 2 years worth of taxes, 2 years worth of W2's, Property documents from the county, and a letter of from our VP of HR for employment verification. She then asked the lady working at the Embassy if in fact these 5 documents needed to be all original with wet signature and she told her "YES...ALL THESE FIVE DOCUMENTS ONLY ORIGINAL WITH WET SIGNATURE OR ELSE!!! " Being that our interview is now 14 days away....Postal mail from US to Ukraine generally speaking these days will not make it in time for me to send originals and honestly I don't really feel comfortable sending tax documents that include SS numbers for everyone. 1. anyone have knowledge about what they really allow (I've read through the documents online on the Embassy site and i can't see anything needing to be "Original with wet signature"...except MAYBE the i-134f. I can't see why a property tax deed to an estate i own needs to be signed by someone important...except the woman on the phone said i would) 2. What do you guys use for fast postal mail...i see my.meesst.us is a contender, i did call them today and she told me that it would take 4 weeks to ship documents from Florida > NJ > Ukraine Thank you guys!!

I am flying to visit my wife next week. She just flew home at the end of August and had to download the app and get tested for covid 19. I am attaching two screenshots from the embassy website. It states that I can take a PCR test 48 hours Prior To Traveling to Ukraine. So key words are those. So to me that thatbwould mean 48 hrs before I board the plane at JFK airport here in the US. But I just want to be sure it doesn t mean 48 hrs after arrival in Kiev.
